Getting from AKL to CSR?

We are going on an unexpected trip to Disney this January, because my husband just found out that a convention that his is scheduled to attend for work is being held at CSR! So DH and I decided that we would all go, but we are keeping it a surprise for our kids. We are planning on arriving about four days before the convention and going to the parks as a family, and then when DH is at the convention the kids and I will do stuff around the hotel and DTD. The problem is that we have been spoiled by AKL and really want to stay there again. What would be the best way for DH to get to the convention at CRS from AKL? Right now we are planning on flying into MCO and possibly taking a towncar to the resort. So we would not have our own transportation. If he needs to take a cab how much would it cost? Would it just be better for us to spend the first few night at AKL and then move to CSR? If so what would be the best way to do the move?

Between the cost of the towncar and taxis, you might as well rent a car.

As for switching resorts, Disney will move the bags for you.
