Getting from AK to HDDR to POP?

I'll post this on the disabilities board. but thought I might get more responses here. In Sept I'll be leaving AK with my mom (who will be in a scooter) and will need to get to HDDR in time for the second show. After the HDDR we'll need to get back to POP. If it wasn't for the scooter I'd say taking a taxi would be easiest, but neither my mom or myself are used to scooters and don't think we'd feel comfortable taking it apart to go in the trunk of a taxi, so what would be the fastest and easiest way to get from AK to HDDR then to POP after the show? Thanks!

1. Take the bus from AK to FW.
2. Take the internal bus to the Settlement (where Pioneer Hall (HDDR) is located.
3. After the show, there MAY be busses at the Settlement bus stop to take you back to POP. If not, take the boat to MK and then take the bus to POP

I would allow at least an hour to get to HDDR.

Another alternative would be;

Take the WL bus from AK
WL has a bus that goes directly to Pinoeer Hall.

The only difference being that the FW bus makes quite a few stops on the way where as the WL is a direct bus.
