Getting from AK to DTD Westside

DH really wants to eat at Wolfgang Puck's. We'll be at AK that day & I need to know the best way to get to the West Side and about how long it will take. We'll be staying at SSR & I wouldn't mind stopping by the room first, if that's easier. I know we can take a boat from SSR to the Market Place, but we've never been to the West Side. Thanks!

When I read the subject of this post, I was going to suggest that you just take the bus to SSR and walk over. Now that I see you are already staying there, its almost a no-brainer, unless you have your own car and can just drive yourselves.

They sometimes run the boat to Westside from the marketplace boat launch.

Other then that you can get the bus as it will stop over there or walk a few different ways.

Remember that there is NO Disney bus service to the West side. You will need to get off at PI and walk there.

From SSR there is boat service that does go to the West side.

Why DID they stop the bus service to the West Side? It was so convenient if you were going from your resort to Cirque. Now you have to trudge through the heat or drive yourself. I can't imagine that with Cirque there that there wasn't any need for the bus anymore. Was it a safety issue or something?

We have this very same issue and were going to take a cab over.
