I'm a little confused... Is the bus that takes you from the airport to the port included in the price of the cruise or is it extra? I've always seen tons of the DCL buses driving around the WDW area and just always assumed it was included with the cruise. Thanks in advance for your help.

well, it's a little of both... it's included if you ask for it but for $46 pp, You do have the option of getting your own transporation, either rental car, or limo service...

then you wouldn't be paying $46 pp. you'd be paying whatever that cost is... and you book a rental or limo on your own.
I hope that helps.

jen, you have to buy transfers from Disney (we just booked our cruise and were told they were $60 pp, maybe they vary based on cruise length?), otherwise you're on your own getting to the port.
If you check out www.dcltribute.com , there are options about car rentals. We're doing a one-day rental, with pick-up at the airport and drop-off at Cape Canaveral, because we're coming in a day early. Budget seems to be least expensive right now, about $39 for a one-day. Would save my family of 3 about $140 bucks.

According to the DCL website, the transfers are $49/pp for a cruise-only package (round trip airport-port), and $69/pp for a land and sea package (airport-resort-port-airport).

Yeah and according to the website my cruise should be costing me $700 more than what it is. Go figure.
Either way, it's pretty pricey.
