What is the best, quickest, cheapest way to get from the Orlando airport to the Caribbean Beach Resort.

Thanks

The cheapest I've found is Mears,
I would only recommend you use them
if you are NOT on a strict time table...

Best & quickest? A towncar service.

Cheapest? Mears

My advice. Spend a little extra for a towncar service. It's a great way to start your vacation.

Best and quickest - a towncar

Cheapest - Mears depending on the number of people

My opinion although I am not sure you asked:

Mears will cost $29.00 adult and $21.00 child, per person round trip plus tip.

A towncar will cost between $80-$110 total (not pp) round trip plus tip most include a complimentary 30 minute grocery stop at a major chain.

With Mears you simply get your luggage and go to the Mears counter, purchase your round trip voucher and check in with a dispatcher outside. At this point your wait can be anywhere from 15-60 minutes for a van or bus to your resort. After boarding you may visit more terminals to pick up more passengers and you will most likely drop off at at least one other resorts before yours. For the return trip you will be picked up 4 hours prior to the flight and again you will pick up at other resorts on the way to the airport and probably visit several terminals before yours.

Experiences vary but my two trys with mears were as above and once we almost missed our flight home despite a pick up 4 hours prior. For me the convenience of a town car and the savings in groceries are well worth the minimal extra expense of a town car. When a personal size water costs $2.50 at WDW getting a case at the grocery makes for lots of $$ savings.

With a towncar a driver will meet you at baggage claim, assist you with your luggage if you like and drive your party and only your party to the resort, via grocery stop if you like. You arrange the pick up time and again you are picked up at your resort and taken directly to your terminal.

There are many great towncar companies including the sponsor Fl Tours - HTH

Thanks everyone for your tips. We are travelling with a 4 & 6 year old so we will probably go with the town car. Not sure we want to wait any more than we have to and being able to stop for a few groceries would be wonderful.

Go with the town car.. You will not be sorry! It is nice to leave the airport while there are huge lines for mears and the rental cars.. It is nice to not be stressed driving roads you are not that familiar with!

Of the towncar services, which one have you had the best experiences with.

Thanks in advance

We have had outstanding service with Quicksilver and are using them again in February. :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

We used FL Towncar in '98. No problems, nice driver, etc. He was there waiting for us with a sign at baggage claim to take us to SOG and was on time picking us up to go back to the airport. We tipped him very well. At that time it was $75/rt and we paid him $100 total. I don't know if they're still around. We're driving next fall.

We used FL Tours last week and had no problems at all.
Michael was our driver and he was good.

We have used Fl. Tours many times over the past several years and have had excellent service. If you search the boards for the different town car companies you will see good and bad about each.

From what I've seen there have been very few issues with Fl. Tours, but I guess it is possible for any company to have a bad day!

I have used Tiffany twice and had great experiences both times. Once our flight was 2 hours late and he was there waiting for us. Even asked us if we wanted to stop on the way for something to eat, because of our flight delay. We just wanted to get to our resort, but still thought that was pretty cool.

We used Tiffany Town cars 2 times and loved them :) The grocery stop is awesome and we ran through the store like crazy people grabbing water, soda and beer and snacks!!
