Ok friends, it's been a year. Would like to maximize our time with a short trip and holiday weekend.

Is RSR FP kiosk still on the left before Bugs? Last year we had great success being right at the rope drop and going straight there to get the fast passes.

Any other tips or changes that are working for you?

Yup, same spot.

I personally find that since so many people rush there straight at rope drop, the line can get crazy and it's better to get a ride in and come back in 40 minutes or so for the FP, but if you're just sending one person over who doesn't mind waiting in a FP line, that can work, of course.

Midway Mania is still a good one to do early since it gets so busy and has no FP.

Have fun!

Just to follow up if it's been a year, make sure you have the Disneyland App. When you click on an attraction, you can see what time it's distributing FP for. Right now (10:24am, park opened at 8), RSR is distributing 7-8pm. It's not like they all vanished immediately... Just something to keep in mind.

Perfect! We do have one person that doesn't mind NOT riding it so sending that person with all tickets to do the FP while the group rides.

Then we all meet at TSMM and get a ride or 2 in :)

Can't thank you enough for your help!

Interesting. So the app will show if there are FP available and for what return time? Not sure I understand but going to get the app now :)

Yup, first the app will show you a map with every attraction's wait time (which I find to usually underestimated, add 5-10 minutes for real life), but when you click on the ride, you get a description of the ride, height requirement, etc., and if it's a FP ride it shows the time they're currently distributing.

Instead of thinking "hmm, maybe Space Mountain has some FP left, let's run over and check," you can check if it really has any and maybe save a trip!

If I hadn't have done my reasearch I would have never known that the FP are in bugs land. We did as PP said and went on the ride (did single rider) and then went to get a FP. Was disappointed that there were no FP for Toy Story as the line was always long.
