Getting FP+ 6 weeks out Instead of 60 (staying on-site)

Hello DISers!

I need some advice! My daughter's dance school will dancing at DTD and taking a workshop with Disney Dancers. How cool is that!! We have our days set- November 5 and 6. However, Disney will not tell us our schedule until SIX WEEKS BEFORE! So I won't know until mid September what day/time she is dancing and what day/time she will be in the workshop. Uncool, Disney!! Uncool!! This is a problem bc these two days will be our only days in the parks, then we are going over the dark side.

So that is my question.....should I just pick some FPs at the 60-day mark and when I find out the exact schedule, try to re-plan if needed? I figure A&E and 7DMT would be impossible to reschedule, but how about everything else? In particular, Space Mt or BTMM or TSM and ToT?

I am not looking for any super-popular ADRS, but I will probably still schedule a few and cancel as reschedule as needed.

Ideas? Suggestions?

Six weeks is still earlier than 30 days for off site gaur pests and they aren't having too many problem so except A &E and wishes, so I would just wait.

I would schedule at the 60 day mark, just to be sure you get the big ones. Most will be able to be rescheduled 2 weeks later, and you can just keep your fingers crossed on the others.

Just for clarification- I plan on going to MK on Thurs and HS on Friday. I am thinking of going to MK on our arrival day just to be sure we get 7DMT and A&E. But we *hate* going to the park on our arrival day. I guess I will make them at 60 days out and replan as needed.

I have been playing around with the FP+ booking system preparing for our 60 day input. (I delete the FPs right after I make them.) At 30 days out, this has been mid March, the only thing I have found not available is the Anna and Elsa FPs. The parades and Seven Dwarves were available at 30 days but sometimes not earlier. I have also looked at Soarin', Test Track and TSMM and they have seen them available.

That time of year crowds are not high. You can plan at 60 if you want and adjust when you get your schedule.

I would go ahead and book A&E and 7DMT (along with something else) for every day you think you might be in MK, and then change the extras when you get your schedule finalized. Everything else should be easy enough to get.

LOL! I didn't even notice that when I read it the first time! Are you sure that's not your subconscious feelings coming out? j/k!!

I know 7DMT is my main priority. I am not even sure if my daughter still wants to meet A&E. I have no idea what I want for the third pick at MK. It's too early to decide that yet! AT DHS I know I want TSM and RNRC. I'm undecided about that third one as well.

You can't pick both TSMM and RNRC. They are both tier 1

Oh shoot.... thank you. I forgot that DHS has that tier system! I'll have to read up on that when the trip gets closer.
