Just trying to be topical...
I love these ones where the phone message has gotten lost in translation...

Down 2kgs in my first week - woo hoo! Celebrated by having a (small) slice of cheesecake at SIL's birthday party today:dance3:

Loving these cakes :lmao:

I did my walk, 40 minutes.

Oh the shame of walking past tradies, we're not a completed estate so there are heaps of them :crazy2:

My little kangaroo pouch just isn't going anywhere, I guess where they cut you for a c-section just makes a little flabby bit that just wont go anywhere...ever (or so it seems).
I've lost something off my thighs (can tell in pants), some off the top of my tummy, some around my face and still that little pouch

:cheer2::cheer2:

I'm cold and eating choc bickies.....

Another "God, the weight is just DROPPING off you!" today :dance3::cheer2::dance3::cheer2:

Kinda makes me wonder just how fat I was two months ago! :sad2::rolleyes:

I've been out of action for over a week. Back to hating Gillian Michaels tonight....

no more cake for you!

^^ awesome :)

had a great few days, food wise. did a massive shop on the weekend, lots of veges and fruit and tuna and healthy foods. the most 'junk foody' style food i have in the house at the moment is muesli bars which carlo takes to work for lunch/snacks and a bag of chips he bought yesterday... i was so tempted to eat them this morning, but managed to resist.

feel like if i can keep up this food regimen, i should hopefully start to see some pounds disappearing soon.

karen, your DH's weightloss is a pretty awesome inspiration!!

yes he is awesome in his own special Control freak kinda way.....:cloud9:

I think he is the lightest he's been since 2000.....during the olympics:thumbsup2

he's chuffed....and religously keeping his exercise/ food diary..keeps him on plan.he also does piecharts, flow charts and bar graphs to monitor his progress.....damn auditorspopcorn::

me......not so good.....i still need to shift 3-5 kgs in 6 weeks......not going to happen i guess....oh well

Healthy breakfast and a walk, so dewy outside I came home with dew in my hair

I'll be walking to pick up little master from school, old jeans fit with no struggle (makes it a bit easier to keep going :thumbsup2)

Osteo appointment, i'm going to be bruised I think :scared1:
2 ribs out of place and I have no idea how I did it...

Um, I had just had Mcdonalds...............is that wrong???!!! :crazy2:

In my opinion...NOT AT ALL! I've tried the 'healthy eating' and am never satisfied. If you never allow youself to have occasional treats you'll eventually cave and binge. I'd much rather eat maccas and be happy knowing that I now will not eat everything in the pantry trying to sooth my craving for fat and sugar!! We have to occasionally reward ourselves for the hardship we're going through for our body's sake, they're going to have to put up with McDonalds every once in a while :rotfl2:

the age old question........

do the 80/20 rule

80 % of your food is healthy, 20% is of the treat/ carb variety......they say this then curbs the need to binge after denying yourself for a while.

& if you are exercising I dont see the harm:goodvibes

I partook of a fillet of fish last week.....i feel so ashamed, but so naughty,...but so ashamed:upsidedow

Um, I had just had Mcdonalds...............is that wrong???!!! :crazy2:

Not at all! We had takeaway from the local fish and chips last night, and we do it on a regular basis - about fortnightly. I've never tried to go gung-ho with my healthy eating habits. An occasional splurge, in my opinion, is necessary to keep you on track :)

More comments today on my weight loss :cool1: Talk about a big self-esteem boost! Although, the dress I'm wearing today is very flattering - thank you Leona Edmiston.

I've been listening to/reading about all the yummy treats available at the Cozy Cone Motel in Carsland and I want to (over)indulge next year. If I'm already fat and frumpy I won't want to overdo it, but if I'm good now I will allow myself to go nuts :)

Good work re the weight loss
I'm glad I'm not the only one who has the occasional treat

O.K so I am 3 wks today post my weight loss surgery (gastric sleeve). While the first wk was hard:sad2: I would do it again now if I had to. I have lost a grand total of wait for it........11kg and I feel on top of the world:thumbsup2. Still in the "obese" cat. But nearly into the "overweight" cat. Gosh who would of thought I would be so happy to get to be classed as "overweight". Still a bit more to go before I fall into that class. Gone from 97kg to 86kg, I can feel the difference when I walk. Its actually less work now to exercise as carrying an extra 11kg really does make a difference. While I think it was Ben? who had a go at me about it I have to say best best best thing I have ever done. I really hope that in 12wks time when we are on our cruise I will be able to go swimming and not feel like the lifesaver will have to save the whale in the water lol!:thumbsup2 Anyway eatting healthy but small amounts not feeling hungry all the time is such a help. Making sure I get protein in every meal. No carbs and taking my vitamins everyday. Life is on the up and up. I only wish my dear grandfather who died at christmas was here to see me transform. He would of been so happy for me. Just had to share and karen your cake pictures are killing me....just saying:rotfl2:
