You're preachin' the gospel here, sister! Diets that eliminate entire food groups seem to forget that simple fact. You can basically eat whatever you want, but some choices are wiser than others. It's all about calories out exceeding calories in.
Right! However, we must remember that eating for weight loss is not necessarily the same as eating for our health. Weight loss is just about calories. It's a simple numbers game. Being healthy, however, is about eating the right foods. You can lose weight by eating cake everyday (if that's all you eat all day) but you won't be satisfied or very healthy. That's where the balance has to come in. You can eat a Lot more if you eat the right stuff. Filling up on low cal foods like vegetables is a great way to lose weight and still be satisfied.
