Getting Fastpasses for entire party of 10 on the disney web site

I have 4 separate reservations. (4 rooms). The people over at Disney have told me I'm going to have to get the person who's name the reservation is under to make an account on the my experience site and link to it to mine in order to make my fast pass reservations.

So far I have been able to link all those reservations into my account. Everything is set up perfectly. I see everyone's name, and everyone's reservations. I see everyone's park tickets. a few days ago was my 180 days, and I was able to make all my reservations online no problem.

So are the people are Disney correct? Or will I be able to make my fast pass reservations for everyone as it.. how i currently have everything set up under my account.

It seems that if you see everyone's name and tickets and are listed as family/friends then you can make all FPs. I had a group of 12 over 4 rooms and made all Fastpasses for the whole group. Some rooms had an adult with no MDE account, and they were listed under my friends as something like "you control this person's account" and the adults who DID have an MDE account were listed with something like "Bob can view and share your plans". As long as all their names were listed and their status was either "controlled/owned. By me or "can make plans for Bob" then I could make FP reservations for them.

ETA: a few days ahead of FP booking, I thought I wasn't seeing all of my party properly. I called IT and they said the problem I thought I was seeing was irrelevant, but that they saw something else behind the scenes that wasn't linked properly with 2 people. They fixed it for me. I don't know if this would have affected my FP picking, but I was glad to have made the call & get it checked out.

That's what I thought. I didn't think the people on the phone understand exactly how the web site works.. Good.. i'll leave it as it.. it didn't want to have to over complicate things and make everyone get an account.. they have no idea what's going on and what i'm doing.. and they like it that way
