Getting Excited! Shuttle Launch

Less than 2 hours if all goes as planned. Right now the sky is pretty clear. I've got my fingers crossed it stays that way.

Maybe someday I'll be Ho Hum when I see this but that that isn't happening today. I'm still in awe that I can watch this from my backyard.

I watched launches from my front yard inn Satellite Beach & from the space center itself for 20 years.

I still watch shuttle launches from up here in St Augustine.

It NEVER gets old........................

We were in WDW a few years back when they launched a shuttle, and it flew over WDW. It was pretty amazing.
We were in the BCV quiet pool, and it went over the hotel, and you could definitely tell it was NOT an airplane.
