Getting dropped off at the parks?

Can you get dropped off/picked up at the theme parks, somewhat close to the entrance? We are traveling with DD 3 & DS 5 months. My dad is also coming along but will not be doing the parks. Can he drop us off & pick us up easily? We are staying on property so will not need to pay for parking but the conveince of being dropped off close to the gates with a double stroller & two little ones would be amazing. If there somewhere on Disney's website that addresses this? For MK our plan is to get dropped off at the contemporary and walk. Do you think we will have an issue with security letting our vehicle into the contemporary for a drop off? We usually park at the Contemporary for MK days but usually make a dinning ressie there which we don't want to do this time since we have 7:55am ressies at CRT.

For MK just tell them you are dropping someone off who wants to visit the resort. That way there is no check for a reservation. They'll direct your dad to the front of the hotel to drop you off but honestly he can just make a loop and drop you off near the bay lake tower parking lot so it cuts your walk to MK even more.

All other parks you would just tell the gate attendant that you are just picking up/dropping off. They'll direct him exactly where he needs to go. All are a pretty easy walk to the front.

We did the drop/off pickup with my father when he was confined to a wheelchair in his final years on earth. We didn't have any problems and we were allowed to go back and park in the lot when needed. Just let the parking attendant know you won't need a parking pass for your father and you should be fine. Just pay attention to the Cast Members directing you for the drop off. It might not be where you want it to be but that's where it is.

I would take the buss if staying on sit for the MK it is closer same distance.

Just want to note that you (general "you") may not park at a resort and then go to a park, even if you are dining in between. You need to move your car after you're done eating. The exception to this is if you valet park.
