Getting Dining Plan on separate reservations?

Hi! We are going to WDW April 19-24 and trying to save $$. Unfortunately the Values were sold out for the whole time, so our first 2 nights are at POFQ, then 3 nights at Pop Century. Ultimately I'd like a 5 day park ticket and Dining Plan. I haven't been successful in getting this to happen unless I buy a 4 day ticket for the POFQ part, and a 1 day for Pop. The cost of that is way, way more than a 5 day and doesn't make either financial or common sense.

Any other ideas on getting the Dining Plan? TIA!

you will have to buy at least 1 days base tickett for each booking i`am sorry to say.nor can they be linked so the first 2 nights would run out midnight of the checkout day

Yes, that's correct. You'd have to purchase admission for each package in order for that portion of your visit to qualify for the Dining Plan.

By doing a split stay you will be buying your tickets twice, and in a more expensive manner.
What you could do is upgrade one of your tickets to cover your entire stay, and not use your second ticket at all. As long as you don't use tickets, they will not expire and can be used for a future trip, or used as an upgrade in future tickets.
Your tickets are only good up to 14 days once you use them. You will not be able to take your two tickets and combine them onto one.

Thanks Luv2Roam! I hadn't thought about that option. Definitely an interesting solution. The youngest person on the trip is 9. So a child now, but not for long, and probably won't go back to WDW for a long time (he's my nephew and lives in NM). So I'm not sure how I could treat that extra Child ticket.

And a separate question, we actually have 2 rooms. 1 room has 2 adults and 1 room has 1 adult and 1 child. If I can get the DDP for the 1A 1C room, do the servers give you grief if the Adult appetizer and dessert are shared with the other Adults at the table not on the plan? And any problems if the Adult orders more than 1 CS meal at a time?

Thanks!

Generally, no.

More than one adult meal? Yes.

Thanks bicker for the info. Good to know. And I LOVE your Solstice signature!
