getting crt last minute??

how many of you have managed to get into crt via a walk up or calling 48/24 hrs before??
curious as this seems to be my only chance of a ressie

We got it for dinner once when we just walked right up. We tried and tried for a couple of months before and there was nothing. We wanted to eat there during the fireworks. So we walked up to the young lady and asked if we could just take a look at the restaurant since we've never seen it. Explained how we tried to get PS and she asked us if we wanted to have dinner..?? We waited 5 minutes then we had a table by the window. We've never tried for breakfast though.

Twice we've been successful getting breakfast at CRT by calling exactly 2 days before the date at 7:00 a.m. from on-site. In fact, we were offered about 5 different times for a party of 4. It's definitely worth a shot!

We called on the way down in the car - and she had one for the next day. She says most cancel 24-48 to get their deposit back. That was for July 5 a very busy time.

We got CRT two days before. A waitress at our Crystal Palace restaurant overheard us talking about how bummed we were that we weren't able to get a CRT ressie. She showed up half way through our breakfast with a list of open times the following Saturday and told us to pick then. Then she went and got us our preferred time and brought us back our PS number. She got a very nice write up from us at City Hall later that day!

i will phone from the uk b4 we leave and then try when we arrive as well

ps looking for crt for 4 people on 4th or 7th nov if anyone can help
would accept 1900 park fare dinner as well on those dates

so far, every time I have called while on Disney property this year, we were able to make a reservation the day before. They usually have cancellations......

Don't give up on calling. I just got a PS for CRT on 12/11 for a party of 5. I called once a day and it paid off. Keep trying!!!
