Getting Crocs to fit properly?

I read the fit guide on the crocs website before I went to the mall. I had to buy a pair of Caymans a full size bigger then I normally wear in order to have the recommended space around my feet. I have been wearing them around the house and my toe keeps hitting the front. Has anyone had this problem? I considered putting them in the dryer but didn't want to in case I really need a bigger size. I am having trouble believing I would need a full 2 sizes bigger.

Also, anyone know where I can buy the Athen's flip flops?

Thanks! I really want to be able to wear these shoes!! :sunny:

I normally wear an 8 1/2 size shoe. I tried on size 9 since they don't come in half sizes. My toe hit the front of the shoe. The next size was way too big. I didn't buy them.

I bought my crocs about 2 weeks prior to the trip. My toes kept hitting the front and I really regretted the purchase but decided to stick it out. i am soooooo glad i did. Crocs Rock!!!!! I did put mine in the dryer for 5 minutes then wore them right away. It helped but i was still worried. By day 2 of my trip I couldn't believe the difference they made. i wore my best asics the first day and got 2 blisters. I switched to crocs and my feet healed and stayed great the whole trip! My legs were never tired and my feet never hurt. I guess I did switch back to my asics for the segway tour, but i regretted it hours later. from now on its only crocs on my wdw trips. I am a believer!

Shrinks then molds to them .If using hot water test with hand before putting foot into then wear them around until they cool

DisneyDreamer,

Did your toes stop hitting the front as you wore them?

I think I have to keep them anyway as my dog ate the tag off the shoes as I had them on my feet!!! I managed to rescue the tag but I don't think the store will be so amused. :teeth:

I had this problem when I wore the strap. The girl at the counter at the "store" (one of those booths in the mall) told me to try it without the strap and see how it fit. It fit great without the strap. She told me then all I needed to do is stretch the strap. You do this just by warming it up in you hand and stretching it. Be careful that you don't stretch it too far. I did this and then wore them the day I park hopped to 3 different parks. My feet felt great. I love these shoes and won't ever go to Disney without them again.

I just bought the flip flop type that I plan to try out at AK on Thursday. I'm hoping they are just as comfortable.

At Dicks Sporting goods they have a velcro strap for $9.99 they fix on the back and come in shoe colors to match.
