Getting bored with Castaway Cay

Count me in on the group of not getting all that excited about CC. I am not a beach person and will snorkel some, but if I miss out it is not a big deal to me. It is a beautiful island, but I am not a big fan of slow paced stuff. We went to the adult beach once and left within a few minutes because it was too quiet lol. Generally we stay long enough to get lunch and then head back to the ship to enjoy the peace and quiet before everyone comes back.

Do not think its going to be a great time pedaling that trike out to the boat and back. Going out was pretty great until it was time to come back and my 8 year old decided she had enough pedaling. I swear I was moving forward 3 feet and backwards 5 feet with the tide. The sailboats and jet skis looked far more fun.

The DW and I just find the day relaxing. We get up and get ready before heading to the breakfast buffet. Then we go back to the rooms to put on SUNSCREEN (don't forget sunscreen). We go downstairs around 9:45 and walk off the ship. We walk to Serenity Bay by way of the observation tower and then the path that goes by the cabanas. Then it's around 11:15 and we hit the food before hitting the beach for the afternoon. We head back to the ship around 2pm.

We have never spent any money on excursions at CC. Maybe on cruise, number 25 we will. But probably not, lol.
