Getting back to POFQ after MVMCP

We're going to MVMCP on Dec 4th and was just wondering what people's experiences of using the WDW buses after the party have been like. Were they packed? How long did you wait? And when do the buses run until?
We've been to the party before but never used the buses to travel back to the resort. We'll be staying at POFQ and leaving MK when the party finishes at midnight.

Yes, there will be lines when its over. But they won't be as bad as a regular night where there are fireworks at closing because they limit the attendance for MVMCP. The busses run until everybody has been served - you won't be left stranded.
