My DH and I want to send the kids to the Neverland club one nite so we can eat at Narcoosees at the GF. However we are staying at POP if we pick the kids up at Neverland Club in the Poly around 11:30-12:00 (closing time)How would we get back to POP without taking a taxi?
Would you take the monorail to TTC and then a bus from there? Do they run that late? Or take the monorail to Epcot then bus to POP? please help before I book ADRs!

Thank you

If the Magic Kingdom is open late enough that night, you can take the monorail from the GF to the Polynesian to pick up the kids, then back to the Magic Kingdom and switch to the Pop bus.
If the MK is not open that late, you would need to walk or take a taxi from the GF to the Poly, then take a bus to Downtown Disney, then take another bus to Pop Century.
You cannot get a bus to any resort from the TTC.

If MK isn't open late that night, getting around can be difficult. If it is open, just hop on the shuttle boat that runs between MK, GF and Polynesian. Then you can pick up the kids, then hop back on the boat, (or monorail) return to MK and take the bus to POP. However, this will not work if the park is closed for the day. Your best bet then is to walk back to the Polynesian from the GF (a longish walk), get the kids and then take a bus to DTD and transfer to the POP bus, or just call a cab.
When we had two families traveling together, the girls went to Neverland Club while the adults headed to California Grill. When we returned to get the girls, it was about 11:00. We asked to have a cab called to get us back to POR. The CM said no, he could do better than that. He returned about 3 mins later with one of the white Disney vans, we all piled in and off we went. We had a most enjoyable ride because we got to have some really interesting conversation with those two CMs. We tipped them well for their help. Now, I don't know if they were supposed to do that, if it is still done. Have no idea. But, it was a very nice surprise for us.

Thanks-- Just check the website and MK is open to 11:00 so maybe I should make my ADRs a little earlier and plan on picking up them around 11:00 or so then I could get back to MK to get a bus-- Will I be able to use the monorail at all that night?

If you make your ADR's for earlier, absolutely you can use the monorail. The monorail continues running for about an hour or so after the park closes....perhaps a bit longer even. If you finish eating by say 10:00, take the monorail over to the Polynesian from GF. Get the kids, hop back on the monorail and go to MK, and hop on the resort bus there. Very easy.

I actually have a similar question. If our kids are at NEverland Club and we take the monorail to Epcot for a 7:40 adr , how long will it take on the monorail to get from the Poly to Epcot? Is their anywhere to find out what the route of the monorail is? Thanks!

There actually are three different monorails. The Epcot monorail just runs back and forth between Epcot and the TTC. The other two lines follow the same loop around the Seven Seas Lagoon, but the express line runs counter clockwise and stops only at the TTC and MK, while the resort line runs clockwise and stops at the TTC, Poly, GF, MK, CR and then back at the TTC.

Coming back from Epcot, you'd need to get off of the Epcot monorail at the TTC and change platforms to the resort monorail and take it to the Poly, which is the first stop after the TTC. Alternatively, you can just get off of the Epcot monorail at the TTC and take about a 10 minute (or less) walk to the Poly on a path that goes right by the Neverland Club.

Thank you for your quick reply!:thumbsup2 How long would say it would take to go from the Poly, change monorails at the TTC and then take the monorail to Epcot? Just trying to get a gauge on what time to drop the kids off at the Neverland Club before our 7:40 ADR? Thanks!

I would walk to the TTC from the Poly (about 15 minutes leisurely, 10 at a faster pace), then board the Epcot monorail. I suggest walking because it is very nice, shaded, and flat. If you have to wait for the resort monorail, you have to go through every stop before it returns to the TTC. The monorail trip is about 5 minutes, but you could be waiting 10 minutes for the monorail to arrive. So, figure 15 minute walk, 20 minute monorail. When you get to Epcot, figure 15-20 minutes gate to restaurant (I'm thinking somewhere in the WS?), with time before to check-in. HTH ;)

Thank you for your reply! That sounds like the most logical thing to do!:thumbsup2

Walk to the TTC after dropping the kids off. Should take about 10 mins or so. Then, up the ramp to the Epcot line. You may luck out and get right on one, or you may have to wait a bit. Then, about a 10-15 min ride to Epcot. Another 5-10 mins to get from monorail to security and through. Then perhaps about 10-20 mins walk to your ADR...depending on where it is.

If you were to take the Resort Monorail, it would take you about 20 or so minutes to get from the Polynesian to the TTC..it's almost the complete loop! That's just not a good idea unless you're trying to kill some time.
So..if your ADR is at 7:40, you will need to be on the way, to Epcot from the Polynesian by about 6:30, just to be on the safe side. Plan on dropping the kids by 6:15...leaves you time to get them checked in and such. They are going to love it there. My now 14 y/o dd was so sad when she got too old for the Neverland Club. It was one of her favorite things to do in WDW.
