Getting around the DL resort/Parking

Hello! I will be driving from Laguna to spend a day at DCA with my daughter (11). We have been to DL once about 3 years ago. Have been to WDW many times. My question is I want to eat at Goofy's Kitchen and then get to DCA at opening to get FastPasses for RSR. Where would be best to park and how to then get to DCA?

Or park at Simba if they'll let you and walk to DLH then to DCA.

I second this, when you enter Mickey and Friends keep to your left (lane-wise) if you arrive early enough to park @ Pinnochio, lightly less of a walk to DLH, we almost always do this just because we enjoy that walk so much.

I thought they converted Simba to an hourly lot for DTD. I've been diverted there before for the parks, but not in 2-3 years, at least.

I was diverted to Simba in June on a Sunday morning and it was the $17 flat rate.
