Getting an annual pass

I have an interview in Florida (crossing fingers), so my wife and I decided to come down together to explore the area, plus spend a few days at RPH. I booked the annual passholders rates, but don't have an annual pass, yet. I am planning on picking up the annual pass just before checking in.

My question is what is the best way to pick up the annual pass? Should I order online or wait until I am at Universal Orlando? If I by the pass online, do you get a voucher electronically or is it mailed to you? (I don't think there is time for me to have it mailed.) If I purchase the annual ticket on-site, where would I get it? (Ticket booth or guest relations center at park?) I expect to arrive at around 4pm, and am also wondering how long it takes to get the photo ID. Since we'll have luggage and laptop computers, etc., I'm guessing that I'll pick up my ticket while my wife waits at the hotel, so I'm trying to figure out the quickest way to get the annual pass.

Thank you.:D

We are still on our vacation that included Universal/IOA. We had purchased annual passes online a few months ago and were sent park passes that look like other park passes but say "Annual Pass, must have photo I.D. taken in park, pass good for 1 day admission" or something like that. We walked in, had the passes scanned at the turnstiles like any other pass but they also put a hole into the ticket. The Annual pass office is by the exit, so we headed over there and the line was long, so we just decided to come back later. Came back later in the day when we were leaving and had our picture taken and got our passes no problem. I think no matter where you bought the pass you would go through a similar process.

One other thing, I used an Annual Pass rate at PBH and wasn't asked for any proof, but was told that the ticket I had that said Annual Pass on it would have been enough. As a matter of fact, I used this ticket to get the annual pass discount at Mythos before I had got the permament ID made.
