Getting additional FastPass tickets

I had an idea and wanted to run this past the group to see if it would work or not be deemed cheating.
Since one can only have one FastPass per ticket for a particular amount of time, I was thinking of borrowing a friend's annual pass and using that to get another fast pass, for say different ride. Then one can stand in line for one ride while the time passes for the other two FP ride tickets. Notw I would *NOT* be using the friend's pass to get into the park, only to get an extra FP. I wasn't sure if this woul work if the system first checks to see if the pass had be activated at the gate for the day.
Just an excercise in thinking foremost.

The machines DO check to see if MYW passes have been used to enter the park that day, but I can't say if the same is true for APs. So, say your family is having breakfast at the GF, and you wanted to take their MYW passes and run over to MK to get FPs before they get there, theirs wouldn't work because they have not been used to enter the park that day.

It wouldn't work, the ticket must be used to get into the park for it to work for fast pass.

If your friend accompanies you into the park, is not going to stay or visit another park all day, and he leaves, then you will get away with retaining his park pass and using it for extra fast passes.
