Hi All!
I've been MIA lately, but finally getting down to setting my plans for our trip in September!
On the 1st Feb, my lovely Boyfriend got down on one knee and proposed! So I can now update his status from DBF to DF!
Very exciting, although he's already said no to a disney world wedding! Boo! Doesn't mean I won't be sneaking in Disney somewhere along the way....
Anyway, Im currently waiting the release of the park times for September/October so I can finally get my offical plan in place! I think these should be released around 1st March & then the 1st April for October? Is this right?
Currently Im basing my plan on the previous park hours, so it is subject to change! But wanted to know what you guys thought?
Arrive Sunday 28th September (land 3pm) I expect to get to the BC for about 6pm/7pm subject to immigration. I am making no plans for our first night as I am not sure how we will be feeling! Hopefully it will be the first weekend of Epcot if I've got my dates right, so if we are feeling up to it we might pop down to epcot and get a few samples for tea or just see what the CL Lounge has to offer.
Monday 29th - If we are up early, head to AK (it was our first park last year so continuing tradition!) Otherwise pool day/relaxing/exploring boardwalk resort might go to beaches and cream for our lunch. ADR for Yatchmas Steakhouse hopefully for the evening.
Tuesday 30th - Epcot - Early morning rides, will hopefully secure FP for TT, and then Q for Soarin' if we get there early enough!. When WS opens, head over for F&W festival day. No plans for ADR's as might be full from F&W! MIght head to DTD for the evening & maybe get an QS from wolf gang puck express!
Wednesday 1st - Blizzard Beach, ADR at California Grill to watch wishes.
Thursday 2nd - We plan to get MNSSHP tickets for this day if its on, so we might just lie in on MK morning and head there late afternoon. hopefully I will be able to get a late ADR for BOG lunch and then we can just stay at MK until the party. Wont bother with an evening ADR though, will probably get QS somewhere. Hopefully we can get all the rides dont whilst at the party
Friday 3rd - DHS! Hoping to get all the rides done in the morning that we want, then will head back to resort for the afternoon, then hopefully get a dinner fantasmic package at Hollywood Brown Derby.
Saturday 4th - Not sure what to do with this day really, Im thinking about maybe going to Universal Studios for the day, and stopping off at the malls on the way back. Maybe eating at the Cheesecake Factory?
Sunday 5th - Cruise day! I think we'll get picked up around 10-11am to be transferred to the port. We're using Disney tranfers.
Then we are on the 4 night Bahama's cruise and I honestly haven't even thought about what we might do whilst on the cruise! I am going to book Remy for one night so we can have a nice dinner together, but I don't think Im going to book Palo as DF wont want to bring a suit jacket with him. Not sure on the excursions though, should I bother booking any? Its our first cruise so should we just relax and explore rather then trying to squeeze loads of things in? Any suggestions or recommendations for excursions would be appreicated!
Thursday 9th, we then transfer for one night at AKL, and probably just plan to relax around the pool on our 'last' day and do any last minute shoppings bit etc. Maybe sneak in one last night at Epcot F&W if we can!
Friday 10th - Come home, although we're on the later flight with Virgin so I think we wont get picked up until mid afternoon by ME, so might just check out early and spend our last morning at MK!
As you can see we aren't making many ADR's this time, as we felt really rushed when we had one booked every night whilst on DDP last time. So we've picked our '3' that we definitely want to go to, Cali Grill, Yatchsman & Brown Derby and we'll leave the rest until the day. I know we might miss out on some, but hopefully we might get a cancellation or a walk up or an ADR booking on the day if we decide to go somewhere else.
I am still debating with myself about booking the Castle for a breakfast or lunch meal though, we haven't yet been and I feel like we really should eat in the castle at least once? But I really dont think the menu's are that good, and its pretty pricey given other places!
I feel like I've abandoned all my recent Disney Planning in favour of wedding planning, and I need to get back on my Disney planning! Only 219 days to go....! Really I just need to go an start a PTR so I can track everything!
