Getting a PIN and cookies on your computer??

Hi everyone! I've been lurking here for WEEKS, nursing my obsession for getting a 20/30/40 pin, and I've finally decided to jump in and say hello. And thanks for the support, even if you didn't know you were providing it! Anyway, I've certainly noticed the "cookies" effect, since when I go on the Disney site to log in, it brings up all three of my email addresses. So, that being said, how important do you think it is to remove the cookies from the computer (first I'd have to figure that out), and if I have already put those emails into the Disney system, should I actually create a new email (or just use one of DH's) and create a new Disney account? And finally, does it mean anything when you get a Disney Destinations email suggesting that you create a vacation video? Is that a good sign, like a PIN email may be coming, or is it no sign at all? Thank you all in advance! Love these boards!

Not sure about the "cookies effect" but I just wanted to say hey as I saw you are from Ft. Wayne. I'm originally from Bluffton (45 min south)! I was just there last weekend at Glenbrook for annual shopping trip with my college friend

I dont know if it does/does not do anything, but it certainly is easy enought to do.

You right click over the blue "e" icon (internet explorer)

Click on "delete cookies"

Youre done!

Hi! I'm not originally from Ft. Wayne (although I've lived here for 13 years now), but I always give a "shout out" to people I see on the boards from my neck of the woods, too! Small World (pun INTENDED)! In addition to the Disboards, I'm also addicted to shopping, so I'm ALWAYS at Glenbrook...so sad that the Disney Store there is closing!

DISNEY1975, thanks for your help. It was easy so I did it, whatever it takes to get a pin (I've done EVERYTHING else)! I see you were lucky enough to get a pin...CONGRATS! Hopefully some pixie dust will come my way...we're going this fall no matter what, but saving some $$$ sure would be a blessing!

Hey...I just wanted to let ya'll know that I got a pin today! It's the 20/30/40 Alice in Wonderland one. It came just before noon to my new yahoo e-mail account (not my other one that I've had on record with Disney for years). Don't know if it was deleting my cookies or just tweaking with my itineraries and then saving them or what, but after days of waiting it finally came...yay! I just followed the directions floating around the Dis on ways to get a pin code, (for those wondering).

Don't give up and good luck to those of you still waiting to get a pin!

I've had the same e-mail and account name with Disney for year and regularly get pins. We've done three Disney trips in the past 5 years...and I requested a cd this year before I found out I was losing my job.

I think maybe the activity on their site and being a regular visitor are the triggers for me!

Last year we got invited to a free Father's Day brunch at the ESPN Zone in Denver thru my Disney information! I don't know how that happened...figuring it is related to how they send out pins! BTW...the brunch was delicious and my kids loved the DX entertainment and games!

HEY! I'm from your neck of the woods...just over the state line! I travel monthly just to go to the Glenbrook's Disney Store. Have they announce when the store is closing? I wasn't able to make it yet this month and it will probably be 2 more weeks before I can get there. I'd hate to drive 40 miles just to find out it is closed.
