Getting a one bedroom at the Beach Club at 7 months

Is it extremely difficult to get a one-bedroom at the Beach Club at 7 months for the beginning of October? I'm thinking that the first of May might stand better chances. I don't figure that studios would be available, but the only place I would splurge with points on a one bedroom would be at the Beach Club to enjoy SAB for a few nights. It would be a resort only trip, with no parks at all.

October can be rough, even in a 1BR. That said, at 7 months for October, a 1BR is the most likely unit available.

USUALLY a 1 BR is the most likely available. However, twice we called on the morning the 7 month window opened for a 1 BR in October, and ended up waitlisting. Then I remember that one year our waitlist didn't come through until 1 month out. So it was a long wait!

The BCV 1BR was open at 7 months out for the first week of May in both 2016 and 2017; at 7 months out for the first week in October 2016 and 2017, two (in 2016) and three (in 2017) days were missing.

Not easy if your dates include Columbus Day weekend. That time has become very popular.
