Getting a membership card for resale contracts?

Is it possible still to get a physical card sent out for resale memberships? I am in no way trying to cheat the system and am fine with it stating resale right on it-I just want a physical card to carry with me because I do not carry my phone much if at all at the beach resorts and a printed copy will get destroyed a few days into a trip. I asked on chat and was told it is not possible but I thought I read some threads where resale members were able to get cards mailed out. Do I need to call in instead?

There are no physical cards for resale members (white card members).

I don't know why they don't just add your DVC membership status to your magic band. Then you will just need your photo ID and a quick scan of your magic band.

If linked, your DVC affiliation is viewable in MDE. The Point of Sale equipment is unable to access that information. That's why merchandise discounts are manual. Disney does have a limited number of handheld POS devices at table service restaurants that can see the information.

Print and laminate (either go to a place like staples or office max, invest in a personal laminator or self laminating pouches, or go to any teacher store and they probably laminate for cheap). As a teacher myself I have a personal laminator and it’s soooooo handy even for things at home!
