Anyone ever get a DVA $20 bonus that they weren't yet entitled to? I got an email yesterday stating they were mailing me my bonus that I requested, which I didn't.

I looked over my account since I opened it and so far I have only two qualifying purchases.

11-01-14- 1252.44
10-06-15- 1299.32
2551.76-total

Both purchases were for 4-day base tickets for me, hubby and two kids.
Now I do have a $200 deposit on a current reservation. But I have had several other deposits on reservations but have canceled them and gotten a full refund. I wonder if the counted those and just messed up? If I receive this bonus, this will be my 3rd, and I am just not yet eligible for it. I'm so puzzled.

DVA is all kinds of screwed up. I wouldn't trust anything it said, but then again, I wouldn't trust it enough to even open an account there. YMMV

I think they just automatically send them out now. I've received two $20 bonus cards without requesting them.

The DVA is super screwed up and although I have been a long time user I am staying away from it for now. It double credited my account for a $100 gift card deposit. I made a payment on my cruise the same day, but left $100.13 so when they figured it out the error they could reverse that $100 credit. I got an email from them two days later notifying me of a payment that was made using my account when I didn't. I logged in and they deducted 13 cents. The $100 is still in there!

Ya, I am really going to keep an extra close eye on it now. I have every penny I should in there, but this has really got my attention now.

In a normal situation I would call and inquire, but with DVA it's just not worth it. Customer service is so poor and inept.

I've requested my $20 twice and still didn't get it. So then I emailed them and never got a response. Not very happy with them right now.

What was your travel date? It usually is sent out a few weeks before when you say your trip is if you request it. But this happened to me and it took numerous calls to figure out what the deal was. Everyone gave me a different answer. I had two people promise to call me back and they didn't. On the final call I was told I wouldn't be getting it until a few weeks before the trip (in August). A week later I got an email saying it was on the way and I received it shortly after. It's crazy that there's no way to see the status and the people at DVA don't have good information.

Wow, I have my trip listed for like November/December.

The first time I requested it was Oct.. the second was around the end of Dec.or the first part of Jan. I took two trips between those times and started paying for another cruise. They just responded telling me it was on it's way. Seems like a lot of hassle for twenty bucks.

Yes, it's a great concept if it works as it should. I think Disney has executed it poorly.

Well I know for a fact that I am not yet eligible for a 3rd bonus, so I will be keeping an eagle eye on my account from now on.

Even though the general thought on here is that DVA is screwed up, I went ahead and opened one about three months ago. Set up a little recurring deposit from my SWA card. I purposely haven’t loaded any Disney GCs into it yet, as I was holding off until I actually needed to pay for my trip. I wanted to see if everything was going to go smoothly with the account. Last week I randomly got an e-mail from them that they could not make the recurring deposit. Ummm, I have tons of available credit on that card and the card is in good standing. Now I know what you all were talking about! As I still only have a very small amount in there, I think I will just close it out. Y’all are right……not worth $20!
