Our FP+ window opens at 7 am this Wednesday. We are so excited for our June Disney trip, and booking Fps makes the trip feel more real. However, 7 am is prime get-out-the-door-for-school time, which makes sitting in front of the computer with my FP list at 7 am really hard.

I'm already talking to my kids about how they'll have to get themselves out the door independently on Wednesday morning. We'll have to pack lunches and backpacks the night before, and everyone will have to do breakfast on their own that morning. DH will have to step up and help get the boys out the door, and my little guy will have to walk to school on his own that day. Independence is good!

I seriously have to make a list of "to dos" for everyone so they can take over and get things done on their own that morning, so I can get my game face on for FPs. Does anyone else have to plan like crazy to be ready for their FP+ window, or this just me? :)

You sound like me! LOL We go on June 8th so my window opened last weekend. It was Sunday on a church day (Palm Sunday). We usually go to church with my parents and they wanted to go to the early Mass at 8 AM. Well... I live in the central time zone so my window actually opens up at 6AM here. I went to get my party of 10 fast passes for 4 fun filled days at 4 parks... when I happened upon a glitch in the system... I started to get flustered because time was creeping along. I was feeling stressed because I didn't want to leave for church until I obtained my fast passes. Well... I eventually called my parents and said I was going to have to miss church because I was working on our fast passes and I was having issues. They are Disney freaks too... and they forgave my heathen tendancies! LOL I eventually got the stystem to work and ended up getting all of the fast passes I wanted for all ten of my family members. Whewwwww it does get stressful though if you are under a time restraint and the system starts to give you little error messages. My problem came with different people wanting different fast passes and it appearing to be an overlap with times (error on their side not mine). Once I erased everything and put it in again the choices were accepted. If all ten of us wanted the same pass it was smooth sailing. Good luck! :) You may be late for school though... :)

I lucked out this year.....FP opened up last Friday, Good Friday. I'm a teacher so the kids and I were off. They were sound asleep and I sat peacefully and got my FP done. Any other day 7am is when I am just arriving at school.
Good luck!

I Just looked up our FP date. It's the first day of school in August. :scared:. I work at the kids' school so we will all be getting ready to leave by 7:45. Do you think they will notice if I don't manage to get the first day of school pics? Lol

I was the same way! Game face, list of rides, daily schedules, everything spreadsheet.
I started the kids off early with breakfast and I was late to work that day.:confused3 oops

You are so not alone. I just had my window open a few days ago. I was able to secure everything that I wanted. I wish you the same luck!

My ADR window opened at 6am on Christmas morning... and I have two little early risers! Santa had to wait on me to book ADRs this year!!

The last time we went as a family (7 people) I had my daughter on one computer, my husband on a computer and I was on mine. Since our trip was for 10 days, we wrote each of the FPs we wanted on sticky notes with the day and the park. These were placed in the middle of the table. The deal was grab a sticky note, make the FP, and then grab another. We got all FP we wanted, close to the times we wanted, and were finished in under 15 minutes. It was quite fun!

My window opened today. I was up at 4am (gotta love CA time), on the computer, with the touring plans app on my phone and a typed out list of rides, prioritized. Took about 45 minutes, but was able to get what I wanted when I wanted it and went back to bed. :woohoo:

My window opens tomorrow at 4 am! I've been going over my touring plans and FP hopefuls all day... my husband has been teasing me all day long about it! He tells me I'm over thinking it... but game on! (and I love it!)

I take comfort that it's not just me! My window opens in just under 24 hours. I just shuffled the kids off to school with reminders about how we have to have everything ready for school tonight before bed, and about how everyone has to get themselves out the door on their own tomorrow morning. Our FPs depend on it!

A few of you have mentioned spreadsheets for FPs. I'm curious as to how you set yours up? I have a very basic spreadsheet with just dates of our trip, times the parks are open, and time slots for our FPs. I also have a list of our desired FPs that's separate. Am I missing anything?

I'm so glad so many of you were able to get everything you wanted...thank you for the good luck wishes. Like kiapepito, tomorrow it's game on!! :)

Hi all! Well, I finished FP selections in about 45 minutes this morning. The kids did a great job of getting themselves off to school without me...whew! I got most of what I wanted and I'm just relieved it's done.

Now, I need to start thinking about what to pack! Does anyone else do this at 60 days out?? :)

Good luck to those who have FP windows approaching!

Yup, our window for our 10 day June trip opened Easter morning. My entire family was coming over for brunch later in the day so I had everything I could ready to go before I went to bed Saturday night. My husband and I both had our own individual lists so we could "divide and conquer" with clear priority labels, time preferences and ADRs that had to be avoided. His phone started flaking out so I did some of his list but it all worked out in the end and we got what we wanted and went on to have a lovely and relaxed Easter with my family.

I'm so glad everything went smoothly for you! Our ADR day for our trip last year was on NYE and we were travelling! I had to use a hotel lobby computer!
My 60 day window is on Monday, May 1st. I am working from home that day (which is luck I work from home every other Monday) and have blocked my calendar from 7AM until 9AM. My plan is to book our high priority FP+'s so even if that means 1 FP per park per day that is my goal and then I'll get the rest figured out later. My hope is they don't announce something like Free Dining or some other craziness that causes the system to crash and then I won't be able to book anything!
I do start thinking about what to pack, my teen girls and I like to DisneyBound so we are thinking about what we want to do each day.

My 60 day window opens on Friday the 13th! Let's hope that's not an omen for how my booking will go!

same account?
I didn't think about having someone help me but it would have to be the same account, not LInked ones

We do not have the same account. In fact, we have three different accounts. My DH has his own account on an android phone/computer. My adult daughter has an account (iPhone) with her kids and husband. I have my account (iPhone) which is what we use to book things for my DH and me. Our accounts are just linked.

I was also able to book my sister's fast passes last Nov. I booked everything by linking her account to mine.
