What the heck happened to their 8 day hoppers? Anyone know who sells the 8 day hoppers now?

Woooh Never Mind... I just checked the website a few hours ago and it wasnt up, and then I checked again and it was... I guess they were updating.

Actually they took them down and when I emailed, they said they weren't sold by Disney anymore and they'd never have them again. They were downright rude about it. Amazing that less than a week later, they're back on the site...

GAT was rude? In an email? Wow, that's surprising. Their customer service is most usually stellar.

Woah yeah im surprised too... their customer service has always always been totally exceptional. Ive never had a problem and I have always raved about em. I guess there can be a bad one in the bunch some times, or someone totally woke up on the wrong side of the spring loaded mattress.

Hopefully they keep those 8 day passes. Maybe I should book em soon just in case.

To be fair, I checked to see if I could find the email from GAT so I could reread and make sure I hadn't interpreted it incorrectly. However, I must have read it at work and deleted it via webmail, so I don't have a copy. I had inquired if they would have the 8 day hoppers for sale again soon (thought maybe they were out of stock or something), and the response was basically that Disney was no longer selling them and they would never be getting them in stock again. It was curt, and it seemed that my simple question annoyed them. I found it to be rude, but then again, maybe it's me. As I said in another thread, when I learned yesterday that they could be purchased by calling Walt Disney Travel, I immediately called and purchased them. I'm not sure what's going on with the whole 8 day hopper thing, but I want to buy them before they're gone again.

You know what im gonna call em right now and talk to someone personally. Cause I really want my 8 day hopper. That way I can get a straight answer. Hopefully someone will know whats actually going on, and hopefully ((Crosses fingers)) decent service.

OK so here is the scoop... I had excellent service over the phone, and They are no longer offering the 8 day hoppers. Its a web error and if you tried to purchase them, you wont get them. They only offer up to 6 days now.

I don't want to keep jumping back and forth between this thread and the other ticket thread, but yes, I think 7-day and 8-day hoppers are only on sale at the gate. I don't know why they pulled them offline (WDT and GAT), but that's what they did.

Oh I didnt know they were on sale at the gate... Well it wont do me any good. Im not going until May. Oh well maybe by some miracle something will happen and GAT will come back with those 8 day hoppers eventually.

Which Vancouver are you in? If you're in Canada, you might check your Canadian travel agencies...other countries sometimes have much different options than Americans get.

It appears that it ended the last day of 2008. Who knows why Disney isn't letting them offer that incentive anymore. It's a shame for GAT, since they were exclusively offering that perk.

I am a bit confused. For it was my understanding that 8 day park hoppers are not available for purchase at Disneyland. I do not recall hearing of 7 day park hoppers either.

Well GAT used to only give one MM with your park hopper tickets over 3 days. Then it seemed for like 8 months of promotion last year they gave 2 MM instead. But now it seems to have gone back to one. But yeah it is kinda disappointing.

Today i called the Disney Travel Co and was able to order 8 day park hoppers. I was told they are not offered on line but by calling they can put 8 days on the pass. I will be getting plastic real tickets in the mail with no vouchers to turn in. The tickets come with 1 MM. The cost for the 8 day hopper was $188 each and that included shipping by ups. So before everyone panics I would try calling them to order them.
