getawaytoday tickets

We ordered tickets only from getawaytoday.com and received the voucher in the mail. Has anyone had any issues with redeeming their voucher ... for Sea World also. Do you just go to the ticket booth, give them the voucher and they give you the tickets?

Sorry if this is a dumb question. I think that is what we are supposed to do, but just wanted to make sure. It didn't come with any redemption instructions.

That's correct. We've gotten tickets to DL and Universal Studios and that's exactly what you do. Bring the voucher to the ticket booths where they'll exchange them for actual tickets/parkhoppers.

Exactly! Getawaytoday will send you a confirmation ticket/receipt voucher in the post mail. All you do is bring it to the ticket booth at the park, and they exchange it for your park tickets right there. Very simple I only use getawaytoday for my tix and have had no problems. Getaway is a fantastic company and I highly recommend them.

I have used getawaytoday on several occasions, including for Sea World tickets for our trip next week. If I remember correctly, when I checked into our hotel (Grand Californian), they were able to redeem the vouchers for us there. We had vouchers for character meals and our park hoppers. They took the vouchers and came back with the tickets, it was a great time saver!

I think at Sea World, there is a seperate building you take it to for redemption, don't go to a ticket booth. The building is right up by the park entrance, but I can't recall the name of it. (guest relations, or something?)

Really? I didnt know you could redeem your park hopper tix and sea world tix at the Grand. Thats pretty sweet, although I understand the Disney tix as its a Disney Resort hotel, but I didnt know that guest relations could give you your sea world pass. Thats really great to find out, it could save so much time.

Sorry I should have clarified better, I was in a hurry when I typed that.

We go to Sea World first and redeem our voucher for those tickets at Sea World (at guest relations or customer service or something like that...not at an actual ticket window).

Then when we checked into the Grand Californian, they took the rest of our vouchers (park hoppers & character meals) and turned them into the actual passes we needed so we didn't have to waste time at the ticket windows.

You can't get the Sea World tickets at the Disney Hotels with a voucher....sorry for the confusion.

Thanks for the info. Now we won't waste time at SW waiting in line at the ticket booth to redeem that voucher and head straight to the "guest relations" booth.

LOL thats ok, thanks for clarifying. I was wondering as that was the first time I had ever heard of that.
