GetAwayToday.com (GAT) extras ?

I ordered my 4 day hoppers on Sunday 7/13 and got the lanyards, Buzz pins, and a receipt on 7/18 (Utah to WA state). They came USPS. I was also worried when I didn't get a confirmation email from them, but then I found it in my Junk box.

Only 2 more weeks!

When purchasing character dining tickets through GAT, are the tickets for a specific date? I have two dates in mind, but I'm not sure which date yet.

i dont think they matter the date. u just have to call and make the resvation with disney dinning

Ok, so our "something" finally arrived today via USPS in a big, colorful GAT envelope!! In it is a confirmation note along with the receipt of payment for our 5 8-day PH's. There are 5 lanyards and 5 Buzz Lightyear pins.

So, other than the lack of a confirmation email, all went well on this transaction. Now, all we have to do is show up at the ticket booth and pick up our tickets which will happen in just about 8 days.

Just a comment to any GAT staff that might read this. It took 8 days for you to mail the lanyards and pins! One might say that I should have ordered earlier, but I disagree. Your USPS postmark was the day before we left for vacation, or put another way, postmarked eight days after we ordered, so they were waiting upon our return. If we had the chance to use them during our vacation, you would have gotten some good free advertising. The lanyards are very bright and colorful.

im sorry but ordering anything i always say mail time 7-10 bussnes days that dosent count sat and sunday.
Thats why when we buy our camra were paying extra for 2day delivery. that is the only way i would excpect something done quick. reguler mail eathier ups or post office is slow

Just wanted to share my experience with GAT in case it will help someone save $10. I had ordered online on a Sunday when the GAT offices are closed. The podcast discount doesn't work online anymore but I was able to call in and have the $10 discount credited back to my credit card! Yay!

I was also told that when you order online, that the tickets are activated for pick up the following day - oops! I was so glad I called and talked to a real person. They were able to fix that for me and changed the pick up date to my arrival in October.

Now, I just hope I get my lanyard and pins in a timely manner!

ticket wise I don't see a difference in price. I looked at the Disney site then at GAT and it was 10.00 more for GAT with their handling charge. Am I missing something? we are looking at 3 day hopper passes

The difference is that with GAT you will get two magic mornings rather than just one (unless you are staying on-site). You can phone in to customer service and they will waive the $10 processing fee with the code podcast (which no longer works on the site).
