Hey everyone,

We just got back from Disneyland, and I have to say the trip started out a little shaky. I had never stayed at the BWPPI before, but I wanted to try and save a little money, and most people seem to like it so we gave it a shot. When we got there they are in the middle of renovations, so the room we requested wasn't available, so I paid the extra and got a suite. Well, I will be honest, the place just wasn't my style. It was very dark, and the bathtub had all these permanent yellow and brown stains all over it. Thus the reno of replacing all the bathtubs.

Anyways, after one night, my wife just wasn't happy, so I found a room at the HoJo (Also highly recommended). But I booked the whole thing through GetAwayToday. And my experience is once you are there, they are no changes, they have your money and screw you. Well, as soon as we got to the HoJo I had found out the BWPPI was trying to get ahold of me. They had called my emergency contact number. Anyways, the reservations manager Jan, told me she was sorry we had a bad experience and that they weren't going to charge us for the remaining nights, and if we called GetAway we could get a refund on the 8 nights left in the contract. So I called GetAway and had the money credited on my credit card right then. With no fee either. It was so nice to have both companies help out when it didn't benefit either of them.

Just wanted to share.

Well, it's nice to hear that BWPPI did whatever they could to resolve the situation. However, it leaves me a little nervous since we're leaving tomorrow for a four night stay there! We requested a room away from the restaurant - do you happen to know where the renovated rooms are located compared to where the older rooms are?

The rooms they were working on were on the first floor on the side of the restaurant. When we got the second room, it was away from the restaurant and at the very back.

When we stayed at the BWPPI last month, we were on the 3rd floor, right across from Captain Kidd's. We must have had a renovated bathroom because it was spotless as you can see in the photos below.

Glad to hear that BWPPI did right by you. I found them to be very courteous and helpful during our stay.

We too just got back form the BWPPI last week from a 4 night stay in the Mini-suite. Our room was very clean, maybe we had a reno. room too. Not sure though because we stayed there in March in a Mini-suite as well and it was the same. The rooms are very dark when you have the second set of window coverings closed but we have little ones so it helps a lot with naps. We find the rooms to be clean and I am a paranoid freak when it comes to hotel rooms.

They were renovating the 1st floor on both sides of the first building. Anyone staying there soon should know that just in case. We did not hear any loud or disturbing noises at all through the day or night.

We also have found the customer service to be excellent and outstanding. Glad they were able to get ahold of you and refund your money.

Thats so wonderful to hear you werent charged to rebook and there was no hassel. Its so often you hear that something goes wrong.

I am totally in love with Getawaytoday and I highly recommend them to ANYONE!!!! To be honest for each trip I go through them simply because of their great customer service.
