Getaway today

Hi

Just a quickie - is there any reason not to use Getaway today for parkhoppers/meal vouchers?

Also - being non-US does anyone have experience of using an overseas creditcard for payment

final question - do you have to go somewhere special to collect tickets/vouchers etc?

We used them for both. Call them though when you order. WE purchase some vouchers online and some over the phone as we kept adding more character meals. GAT made sure all of our dates for redemption were correct in their system but Disney had them in their system as expired after three days of purchase. It was no problem to fix. DLR just made a phone call and corrected it. But it could have been smoother.
We stayed at the Desert Inn and eventhough it is a Good Neighbor hotel, they cannot print the vouchers. DLH. Paradise Peir and Grand Cali. can print them for you or at the guest services desk.
We went to GCH because we flew in too late to get them from guest services and we had early reservations for Storytellers. So the GCH took care of us

The reason I haven't used them, apart from the whole "I have an AP" thing LOL, is that the cost of the hoppers has been the same, when I look, as disneyland.com, plus a service charge. The two times now that we would have started with tickets and upgraded to APs, we were/are staying onsite, so we get MM anyway and the extra day of MM (ending in January, but your trip is before that) isn't needed.

i am from australia we just got back from Disneyland yesterday.We purchased
character dining from Getaway and used a dedit card from ANZ Bank which was
in U.S Dollars and had no problem with transaction. As you are a N.ZEr it may be
cheaper to purchase your park hopper from Expedia online as Aussies and NewZealanders can get 14 day park hoppers which are when you convert to U.S
money about the same price as 3 day PH at Disneyland ticket booth,it is for 14
consectutive days.i had no problem just went to ticket booth and picked up the
tickets and showed the print at home voucher.i did find that it was cheaper to
get legoland at the discount ticket seller on harbour also located at Garden walk .There were plenty of discount coupons for Knotts berry farm as well as
pirates dinner show and medieval times in hotel receptions. We had a fantastic
time there and hope you do too. Also make the most of the photopass .there
are penty of threads explaining it if you have not heard of it.

3 day park hoppers at disneyland.com are $179, at getawaytoday they are $169. So four our 4 tickets, even with the service fee we saved $30. Every little bit helps!

Thanks everyone..... I would have saved about $30 too, but they threw in a $35 shipping fee (not sure what for to be honest) What do they mail to you?

You should phone them about the shipping fee - they are very good and if they made a mistake, they would correct it. There s/b no shipping (unless you ordered something other than vouchers)

When I've checked in the past, it's been the same, so obviously they change things around every so often.
