we are looking at tickets from different places just checking prices.
i can get the character meals we want for 88 for adults (3 character meals)
and 49 for kids)
do we get MM 10% off downtown disney card and the toontown madness if we go though them?

also what are other places to check
(i cant belive im even looking at not doing the meal plan we liked it but idk just checking other posibilitys out

Good for you for looking at other options, Jade. You'll probably find you can actually save some money.

I'm not sure about the rest, but I do know that you get TWO MMs if you get your hoppers through getawaytoday.

No, you do not get the MTTM. As far as I know, only AAA and Disney offer that as a perk... although I am sure someone will correct me if I am wrong about that
I do not believe you get 10% off of anything, but they do send you a little coupon book good for various places in Anaheim... and I think some in DTD.

hum intresting ty DM ya so far ive figuered for the charcter meals we would each need about 50dollers to make up for the rest of the 4day meal plan we would of got.

The S and T days, so Sat, Sun, Tues, and Thursday, are MM days.


Are you looking into a package, or just getting things separately?

Other places to buy packages are costco and AAA (costco also offers the MTTMM with their packages, along with AAA and Disney travel themselves).

GAT will give you the 2 MM's, the lanyard, pin and coupons for with the parkhoppers. With an online package you will also get a scrapbook. If you book with Costco, they give you a free character meal voucher, another meal voucher, TTMM, 1 MM and the lanyard,pin, coupon book & coin. But I think they are a little higher (probably the meal vouchers) but for us, we want those 2 MMs.
We saved on our character meals by using GAT. Make sure to order each meal separately and use the Podcast code to save the $10 on each meal order

Jade, you use the podcast code on the getawaytoday.com site. You can order park hopper tickets and character meal vouchers there. If you get the park hoppers from GAT, you will get the 2 MM entries as well. It sounds like the hotel price you got was great, so this may save a few coins and get the extra early entry. I think you also get a small photo album and a Southern California value book this way as well. It's worth a shot - take a look at the site.

I would not order all separate orders though - you would not be saving any money. The podcast will give you a $10 off credit, but if you do only one order, you will only be charged one handling fee any way. If you do three orders, you would be charged three handling fees.

If this trip is for oct really you should get your tickets from gay days Im not sure how much you save but it will be more then anywhere else.

Jade, the code you use for the discount is "podcast" you enter that where they ask if you have a promotional code.

They charge a handling fee on all orders that do not include hotel, I believe. I'm pretty sure the promotional code negates that fee, though.

I thought about suggesting that, however the gaydays convention tickets do not include any MM entries, and I'm pretty certain Jade is counting on those.

Absolutely! I have used these many times, and I agree it's a great way to save money. You just have to be willing to give up MM -- or use the money you save on hoppers and stay at a resort property to get your MM.

EDITED TO ADD: Oh wow, they changed their convention ticket vendor and it looks like the tickets are only good through Sept. 30 - Oct 14th! They are normally good through mid-December. Dang, that stinks.

It says tickets are good from 9-30-08 to 10-14-08.

Now Im going on oct 12th and wanted to buy a 5 day pass. Can I buy A 5 day pass and start using it on 10-12 for 5 days or does it have to be used by 10-14 ?


Im thinking I can use it for 5 days on the 12th but wanted the right answer.

And how much money is it to add another day? My wife and I are AP holders but my daughter turned 3 and I need a ticket for her.

well i would like MM but it depends on the savings. ill look tho ty i have done so much mat and even with the meal plan from disney it only came up to 937..but disney was charging more..if i got the charcter meals and the tickets from getaway id save 300+ i can just put that in a pre paid credit card since my dh dose want to do dennys. but ty for all the info and for clearing up the podcast code DM lol
