Getaway Today ticket question

I know if I did a search I could probably find the answer to this, but I'm really short on time right now.....

When you use Getaway Today to buy tickets only, how are they delivered? Is it an email voucher taken to the ticket booth, or do I need to allow enough time to have tickets physically mailed to me? Also, when they ask for a departure date, does this change the delivery method if you are purchasing last minute? Is the date you put in really all that important?

I want to wait as long as possible to get the tickets in case the weather affects our travel plans. If I can put it off until I can at least see a 10 day forecast that includes our departure date, that would be ideal.

I was wondering about this last week or so. I saw a "rush" charge if you bought tickets less than 14 days out so I was worried. Anyway, I bought tickets last Monday for our trip the last week of October. This is what it says on the receipt at the end of the transaction:



For rush ticket only orders, your vouchers will be faxed to the guest relations (or guest services) window at the attraction. Please pick them up with your picture I.D.

If you have purchased Disneyland Resort Park Hopper tickets and/or Character Dining tickets, your tickets are set up electronically. Please proceed to any of the main entrance ticket booths to pick up tickets. You will need to show a valid picture I.D. to pick up your tickets. If you are a guest of one of the Disneyland Resort Hotels (Disney’s Grand California Hotel & Spa, Disneyland Hotel or Paradise Pier Hotel) you may pick up your tickets at the front desk at the time of check in.

So basically - there was no fee. I don't think the date is terribly important. And you just show your picture ID at the ticket booth to pick up the tickets. There is no voucher. I printed out my receipt with a confirmation-type number, but then I received the same receipt in the mail later in the week. Hope this helps!
