Get your countdowns here!

You are the best!! It worked fine for me this time (I had some problems with the previous one). I appreciate all your time and effort that you put into this. As you can see, we all love our countdown timers.

Thanks Again,
Lisa

I got through instruction #7 and generated the script, but it never took me to the DIS Board User Control Panel. No new window popped up.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks

janets: Not really sure why it didn't pop-up for you - what browser and version are you using? You could try clicking on the 'Generate / Re-Select Script' button again and see if it pops up. Sometimes it pops up in the background (usually does this in Internet Explorer) - check to see if another window came up by looking down in your task bar (if you're using Microsoft Windows).

If worst comes to worst, you could just open another window and navigate to your User Control Panel and then continue following the directions.

Let me know if any of this helps - if not, I'll take a look at it using your browser version.

Thanks,
- Jim

janets: It looks like it worked! :D

Did you have to manually open your Control Panel or was it already there?

This is so cool. Thanks so much for all the work put into making the timer!

It worked and I actually did it myself! Thanks Jim! I just wish I didn't have to wait 237 days to go!

Thanx Jim...

Definitely a cool tool to help pass the time!! :sunny:

I'm getting the same "cannot access" error as charlotte61. I was able to access the thread/site a couple of weeks ago when I originally added the countdown to my sig, but I wanted to regenerate the code - and now I can't. When I click on the link at the beginning of this thread, the new page reads:
You do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

1. You do not have permission to access the page that you were trying to. Are you trying to edit someone else's post or trying to access administrative features? Check that you are allowed to perform this action in the Forum Rules.
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

Help!

I'm getting the same message, April! Figures, now that I'm finally getting around to getting a countdown clock... :(

Ok, I see what the problem is. In an effort to conserve space, Mr. Jiminy Cricket moved the thread that the link in my signature referred to (along with the link at the beginning of this thread), so the message didn't exist at that location anymore. I've been out of the country (:D) for the past week, so I hadn't had a chance to update the links.

Sorry 'bout that,
Jim
