I've had a pretty rough 10 days with family stuff, which has resulted in me getting sick :-(
Tonsillitis is horrendous as an adult, and even worse when the doctor isn't sure whether it could be glandular fever (Dr Steve informs me that in the states, you call it Mono?)
Let's just hope it eases up a bit before Friday!
I can't spend my last birthday in my 20's sick as a dog!!!

I don't know what kind of sorcery you all have up there but this afternoon and evening, I'm feeling a whole lot better than I have in 36 hours. Hopefully the pain killers continue to do their thing and I'm on the mend!!!

Glad you're feeling a bit better. I had mono when I was in my early 209's, and it was LONG, painful, tiring, and NOT FUN!!! So I sure hope it's not that.

Well the full name is actually Infectious Mononucleosis, which does sound kind of cool - unless you're the one who has it of course.

Ok so it's 1:30am and the pain is back with a vengeance :-(
Let's just hope that all the crap I bought actually helps with the pain relief and kicks back in soon!

The doctor did mention that as the blood test he ordered was called an "IM screen"
