Get to know other familys!

We are a little family of 3, we are visiting the parks in November 2021. We have a little girl who will be 1 year and 4 months. (Quite young) wondering if any other familys will be going at this time. Would you like to get to know us before going and maybe spending a day in the parks together? Maybe we could child swap so couples can go in rides?

Not something I would be comfortable with during the Plague.. definitely would not trust someone I barely knew to watch my kid just so I could ride a few rides.

That's what I thought too. There are too many bad stories out there for me to ever be comfortable sending my kid off with a stranger. I hope others exercise that same level of caution and vigilance. OP could be sincere and honest but, Covid aside, this is a worrying idea.

To clarify I'm not going to send my child off with a stranger... I was more asking if we could all stand in the que lines together and wait with one anothers children whilst riding on rides! Like the child swap but with someone who i would have got to know before I went..... if its not for you then thats fine.

I understand. However, what’s to prevent someone from leaving the queue with your child while you and your spouse are on the ride?

Thats why I asked in February, we arent going until November so around 9 months time. Video calling, and getting to know people over the Internet, is possible and 9 months is a long time to get to know somebody. Nice way to make friends and keep in touch afterwards. I'm only looking to do it with a family who are taking their own children.

There is also a child swap option too if connecting with another family doesn't work out for you. Every family is different, but I know our kid would not have enjoyed waiting in lines for the parents to do the fun thing. Universal became much more of a family thing around 9 years.

understand that its not for everyone, i was hoping to integrate the 2 somehow. I totally get a child might not want to wait in the line, but like I said she will be a 1 year and 4 months so she won't really be able to go on anything, she won't understand and if we meet another family she might make a little friend who she can wait with. it might make it more enjoyable for her.
