I "guess" the purpose of this is to try to offer Guests returning from the Parks at night a convenient food option instead of everybody "slamming" World Premiere and Intermission.

I doubt it as the Pop Warner Teams are staying at All Star Sports. These pizza stands are going to be at Music and Movies only as of now.

According to their package it's Sports for the Value and CSR for the Moderate.

I'm thinking this is more about helping to reduce the number of rooms ordering pizza delivery. That's a labor-intensive operation. Due to the size of the resorts, a delivery person is limited to the number of deliveries that can be made each hour.

Having pizzas ready to go accomplishes two things. First, it potentially reduces labor costs. That's always a goal for Disney. Second, it (probably) increases guest satisfaction. Instead of getting back to the room and discovering that it will take a long time to get food, they can have it immediately.

Although now that I think about it, the set-up does probably help alleviate the problem of having the food court jammed later at night, too.

They are staying at all 3 All-Stars plus CBR and CSR.

either way, I think it is worth a trial period. Convenience sometimes trumps everything.

Please don't anybody tell my husband and teenage son about this.

If they hear about it, he'll want me to switch our Pop reservations over to the All Stars, they would love to be able to grab pizza on the way back to the room every single flipping night of our vacation.

I think it is a great idea! Last December we stayed at CSR. I was thrilled we got to the food court before the kids did. They were polite, but boy! There were a lot of them! I bet the All Stars need this option even more than we did considering how many Cheers are there.

I am actually not a fan of pizza, but honestly I might be tempted to do this if it was available. So easy and if you also had your mug on you, then you could get away with minimal time in the food court and head to the room to stretch out and relax.

My first thought was .... no eating on the buses .... so all these folks cramming food while standing in the queue ... I hear it now parents to kids "eat your breakfast, fast, here comes the bus" ..............

I think with the donut/pastry shop being at the Bus Stops,it is inevitable no matter how hard the Drivers try to "police" it.

UGH. Sticky dirty crumby seats/floors and sure to bring ants.

I completely see the pizza but breakfast, no. Get up early or eat at parks - you snooze you lose. Where is the uproar over Disney trying to squeeze more money ... out of lazy people.

If they provide a sleeve or something the food can be contained in, then people might wait to finish it once they get to the parks, but they often just hand out napkins which definitely means crumbs.
