Best and cheapest way to get from Hilton Disney Spring's area to a Walmart, Winn Dixe or Publix, without a car. Willing to walk if possible or take a bus. Does anyone know how we can get a few groceries when we get to Orlando? Thank you in advance!

Look on a map and see if the Crossroads is too far of a walk for you. That would only be the closest walking distance store. The public bus system is Lynx so you can also check for bus routes if it is too far. There are a number of grocery stores just farther out, but most would be too far to walk from there.

We tend to order groceries to be delivered from instacart.

Look into Garden Grocer or Dizzy Dolphin..both have been used with good results. You make up your shopping list, they shop and deliver to you. Otherwise, you can always uber to a grocery store. I would stick with either Walmart or Publix...Winn Dixie is overpriced.

Do not go to Winn Dixie unless you love paying twice as much as you should.

The grocery in the Crossroads is independent, and has a reputation for high prices. It's a mile walk. The bus line that serves DS does go near it, but none of the stores you listed are nearby along the line. Bus fare us $2 per rider each way, exact amount required.

You could take an UberX to the Publix @ Regency Springs or the Walmart on Vineland for about $9 each way (+ tip). If you've never used Uber or Lyft before, look for promo codes that could reduce the cost -- possibly free for the first ride.

Sounds like delivery is the best option, no lost time, and have to pay to get to store! Thank you for all the delivery ideas, I will make note of them and check prices! Can you get a bottle of wine delivered with these delivery services?

We used Safeway delivery. We had to meet the driver because we had alcohol in our order. It worked great.

Yes, you can. If you can't find it on the list, write it in the Comments section. We use Garden Grocer.

Before using Wegoshop, I highly suggest reading the thread over on the DVC Mouscellaneous board. People have had a lot of problems with them.

we use Garden Grocer too , never an issues in many trips! We pay for the convenience, its always there waiting for us at bell services
