Get Away Today Character Meal Voucher

Has anyone used this voucher? What was your experience? Did it truly come to be cheaper? Can you purchase the voucher even if you don't get a package from Get Away Today? We are going in late June so I just figured I would ask.

You have to do the math and figure out how much the meal costs per person, and add in tax and tip (I believe the vouchers include an 18% tip) and any service fees. For us, I think the vouchers saved about $10 overall. For me, that was worth it. More churros and Dole Whip!

You do have to be careful, because not all of the meals are as good of a deal.

We just came back from a magical trip at Disneyland, and we used the vouchers for Goofys and Storytellers. We have 5 in our party and we saved about 22 at Goofys and about 15 at Storytellers. No you do not need to have a package to buy the vouchers. We picked up the vouchers at the ticket booth. It was great to have your meal pre paid, before you go to Disney. We are going in July, and will definitely use the vouchers again!!

When you ordered through Get away today did you received the vouchers via email? Or what exactly where you sent?

We went to the ticket booth, ( were you pick up tickets) and they gave you a printed ticket for each person in your party. We we checked into Goofys Kitchen, we presented the tickets, and no problems at all.

Do you just take the receipt because i just ordered 4 vouchers and all i recived was a receipt, now ticket or anything that states its a voucher

The vouchers are actually cheaper on lastminutetravel.com. put in your dates,and go to the activities section. GAT charges the voucher dollar amount. LMT provides an additional discount.
You really do need to do the math to see if it is going to save you $.
