Get an extra bedroom or save money?

Im booking a 3 night stay at Nickelodeon resort soon. I will be traveling with just myself and my two kids.I mistakenly assumed all of the rooms have a kids room that is themed but the cheaper rooms are not themed . My kids were looking forward to a themed bedroom but I just dont think it's worth the extra money . It's around $30 a night extra for a themed bedroom. I just left the site and noticed they have a 1 bedroom suite which would save me around $50 . I have no problem sleeping with both kids they are both under 6 years old. Im still confused as to which to pick though. I was thinking maybe i'd get an upgrade to a themed room when i check in if i booked a 2 bedroom . There are no themed one bedrooms but money is tight and every little bit of money saved is always welcomed. What should I do ? Im so confused

From what I have seen of Nick, they aren't going to miss a themed room. I'd book the suite and save the 50 bucks. That place looks so awesome they will probably never even notice the room.

Thanx Disneylicious I was hoping they wouldnt really notice the room ...its just paint on the wall right? Lol Im going to save the $50 and use it for something else . I love ur name btw !

i have nothing good to say about the hotel..but my ds loved jimmy neutron so i know i have a pix of it somewhere..the seperate rooms were the only good thing about the place to me.the big water thing was closed for the 2 days we were there so prepare yourself..there was a small slide thing at another pool but very crowded...i pd 10 extra for pool view and they gave it back..ill find the pix..

If I go there and the pools are closed ...there will be hell to pay . Thats the only reason most ppl go there they should have refunded you atleast half of your money.

We might not even go because my debit card would not go through because they dont ask for a security code or use a zipcode like most establishments and than I bought a visa gift card and apparently that's not going through eithier ...like *** you'd think a destination hotel like nickelodeon would have better service than this.

I've had that same thing happen at a Disney resort, and they wouldn't even apologize for it, let alone give me any money back. I've learned to ask at check in if anything is closed for service.

Were you at a mod or deluxe resort?If it was deluxe i'd think they'd let you choose another resort because the pool slide is a big reason why some people choose the deluxe resorts. If it was a value with no pool slide than i'd understand Disney saying well tough no compensation required. That still sucks though to not be able to swim.
