Get ABD Trending on Twitter

Hey ABD fans,

Adventures by Disney is obviously an amazing product with a devoted following. After some searching though, I found that it doesn't have much of a presence on Twitter. I can't find any hashtags for it and I don't think they even have a Twitter account.

I was thinking about trying to start a hashtag so that ABD adventurers can easily find each other. #ABD is already being used for something else (seemingly something foreign) so I was thinking about #ABDisney. Suggestions welcome.

And if no one uses Twitter, then uh.....nevermind.

I have to admit, I pretty much abhor Twitter, and never use it. But if others do, it certainly can't hurt to get the presence out there. See what happens. Although I've noticed on Facebook that most people seem to think it's "Disney Adventures". When they ask about people's experiences with Adventures by Disney, people reply about their last cruise or trip to Walt Disney World...

I'm not even sure what a hashtag is for.

Yeah I'm not a huge Twitter fan, but it's a great way to connect with people and businesses. The hashtags are just easy ways to categorize posts.

For example, this online tailor called Indochino is having a father's day contest on Twitter. You just come up with a reason your dad deserves a new suit, tweet about it and include #SuitUpDad at the end. That way, Indochino can search for all the tweets containing the tag #SuitUpDad and they can easily find people who have entered the contest.

My idea is that when people post something on Twitter about ABD, they can add #ABDisney at the end...then other users who want to see all the tweets concerning ABD can just search for #ABDisney. It would make it easier for future adventurers to connect before trips.

That makes sense to me. I say go for it, and see what happens. Certainly can't hurt!
