Get 6 FP+ by buying two park tickets?

I realize it is an expensive way to go, but I am wondering if anyone has ever tried to buy two park tickets per person in their family so that you can get 6 FP+ each day?

Here are some things I know:
1. I will be staying on property. I realize that with my magic bands associated with this reservation, I can make 3 FP+ reservations 60 days in advance.

2. If I purchase a second ticket per person, we will each have to go through the "turn styles" twice.

3. Reservations for FP+ tickets when not staying on property (which my 2nd park tickets would be) can be made 30 days in advance.

My question is....will I be able to make my second set of FP+ reservations on the MDE 30 days in advance or would the system get confused because my first reservation would already be there?

Thanks for your help!

The function that requires that you use a ticket to enter a park in order to use FP has not been enabled yet. That opens up a lot of possibilities, but could change at any time.

Until things change, you can buy the second set, schedule and use the FPs, and save the tickets for admission (and FPs) on a future trip.

If you have stupid money what you want to do is fine but I think its a waste you're like paying $30 a fastpass to start but whatever floats your boat

So if I have APs but also have nonexpiring tickets on MDE, I can book FP+ on the non-expiriing tickets?

If they are linked to the same person, no. If tickets are linked to a different person or a phantom, you can schedule FPs and use them at the FP lines.

I believe non-expiry tickets are non-transferable - they can't be "re-assigned" to a new person/phantom to generate FPs.

Not sure how that works if you have them all on the same account. But at the very least if you have them on different accounts you should be able to. (You would probably only have 30 day access though.)

I think the 2nd set of tickets would have to be attached to a 2nd "person" with a different MDE profile to advance schedule additional FP+

Before FP+, some touring sites recommended 2 tickets to get multiple FP-, so it's nothing new.

These threads pop up periodically, which indicates to me that there is a market demand (people willing to pay for additional FPs). I know there are many here who vehemently oppose this course of action, but I think it's inevitable that Disney will figure out some way to charge for more FPs since there are clearly people willing to pay.

I'm one of them, but based on everything we've seen so far, I agree that it's only a matter of time.

I don't think I would buy the extra tickets but it was an easy decision to buy an extra set of magic bands for the same day fast passes. There is a market of people willing to spend more for easier access to the rides and Disney should figure this out. I for one would love for Disney to start charging again for late night EMH. Best time ever at the MK that is now ruined by free access to all.

Tiered pricing in ways we haven't even began to think about yet!!!

As for the two sets of tickets. It sounds ok for Magic Kingdom maybe. You could get 6 useful tickets there.

BUT at Epcot you are really only getting 2 useful tickets and DHS only 4 useful tickets IF you ride Tower of Terror. At DAK - who knows - if you go in after 3 you don't need FP at all. I use 1 there for the Safari and maybe one for Dinosaur if I want to ride it in the morning (if you want to ride it early - you almost HAVE to use a FP. After 3, it is generally a walk on.).

So the Extra set of tickets might only be netting more like 1.75 FP+ if you visited all four parks.
