Wild About Trial @WildAboutTrial

Serino asks #Zimmerman why he didn't know the street numbers. He says he has a bad memory and has trouble remember streets and numbers.

The prosecutor is allowing Zimmerman to give his story and can't cross examine him. Of course, this version will be most favorable to him. I wonder why he's doing this?

Exactly. And the other officer has already said any inconsistencies were minor and o be expected. I don't understand where the prosecution is going.

#Zimmerman explains the moment he shot #Trayvon and clarifies that 911 operator didn't say "stay in your car" they said "don't follow him"

I understand this. I frequently blank out on the name of streets around me and forget trying to remember numbers. On my very low carb diet I think I would forget my own name.

I know TM's dad and fiancé weren't home. Maybe door was locked and he couldn't get into the house? Then he would have to hide.

And TM saying "you got me"?! It doesn't seem even remotely plausible. If they needed a plastic bag to do CPR on him because of a sucking chest wound, he wouldn't have the ability to speak.

Brandy Green's son, Chad, was at home.

I think they are going for the inconsistencies in all his statements combined with the NEN call. They'll bring that all into evidence and argue all the inconsistencies in closing.

Ok, but it still seems chancy because of course the defense will have reasons for the inconsistencies. Officer Singleton even said that inconsistencies in stories were not unusual and that Z's inconsistencies were not a big deal.

That's what closing argument is about. Wrapping it up.

But you don't want to understand either.

By the time investigators can look through Zimmerman's statement, walkthrough video and dispatch call they had a better idea that there were some big problems with his story.

Minor inconsistencies are to be expected but once they started looking at everything, they weren't all minor anymore.

Officer Singleton testified that the consistencies were minor.

Was she talking about all the inconsistencies including his statements being inconsistent with the NEN call, his reenactment not matching up to the call and other statements, or just the inconsistencies in the statements he gave to her?

They'd have to put GZ on the stand to explain the inconsistencies.

I think Officer Singleton was talking about his statement that night. It probably wasn't a big deal until the reenactment and they started looking at everything.

it obviously became a big deal because Det. Serino is the one that wanted him charge ( with manslaughter I think).

The rest of the recording is all audio. Serino went to his desk to play the 911 calls for #Zimmerman. A few officers are around at this time

Wild About Trial @WildAboutTrial

Serino asks "on drugs.. why?" #Zimmerman explains #Trayvon kept shifting and walking around.

Wild About Trial @WildAboutTrial

Serino points out that #Zimmerman got out of the car to following him and that's not fear.

Wild About Trial @WildAboutTrial

Dorris points out it sounded like #Zimmerman was running too. He explains it was just windy out.

Wild About Trial @WildAboutTrial

Serino is asking at what point and where he was smothered and is having trouble figuring out this part, no one else saw that. #Zimmerman
