That is very helpful. Do you know what time of day you can purchase Genie+?To my knowledge APs can add genie + at 1200am the day of their reservation
Once you have a park reservation date using season pass, can you purchase Genie+ in advance or do you have to wait until the day of the park reservation?
Thank you!
Again, incredibly helpful! To my knowledge APs can add genie + at 1200am the day of their reservation
Yup, exactly how I feel. I feel they are making especially out of state AP holders feel like second class citizens...I go in two weeks and it's aggravating all this extra work they are dumping on us, especially given we are committed to the long term spending.
You can add it at midnight the first Lightning lane reservations can be made at 7amThat is very helpful. Do you know what time of day you can purchase Genie+?
Absolutely agree. If I have committed to park days, that should allow me to then purchase Genie+ in advance on those days. I understand why resort/ non-resort reservations can't be considered, but park reservations should be the key to purchasing Genie +.PPs gave you the answer ~ I'll add that it makes me mad that I can't add it, on the days I have already committed with park reservations, in advance. I'm hoping in time they start to weave these new APs into their system to give us some more options, but who knows.

You can add G+ at any time after midnight on the day of your park reservation, and if you are a resort guest you can begin making G+ LL reservations at 7 am. If you are a resort guest you can also make paid ILL$ at 7 am. If not a resort guest you have to wait until park opening for both.On a different site they mentioned AP holders can add it at mid nite for day of but have to wait to book anything until the park offically opens. So now I am totally confused. Which is it. At 7 or when park opens.
We've been wondering this, as well. But since, in the past, the certificates (inactivated) worked just fine for FP+, we're hoping the system is smart enough to allow us to purchase G+ before activation so we can use it Day 1. There have to be some folks out there who have done this by now - if not, there will be soon!Do your APs have to be activated to purchase Genie+? We arrive on 11/4, but our first park day is 11/5. We have DVC Gold AP renewal certificates (whatever those become now with the new AP system). We've always had to activate those in person to show that we are still active DVC owners. If all our travel goes perfectly on 11/4, we can make it to Guest Services in Disney Springs before they close for the night, but I'm worried we won't make it. That will leave us having to activate our APs on 11/5 at MK (our planned park), which we won't be able to do before 7 am. I'm hoping the AP doesn't have to be activated for us to purchase Genie+. Does anyone know?

Yea, you're right. I can see how that statement would warrant a chuckle - maybe even an LOL!!First thing I read today, and made me chuckle out loud!
I go in 11 days and so far, my stomach is queasy. I think I might go to Disney Springs the night before to activate although AK is my first day and not as worried about it as some others.
