Yes but one must stay on site in a Disney Resort in order to get the hour of extra magic. Correct me if that has changed.

You're right. . .that's why I said "participating WDW resorts" ;). Not all resorts on WDW property are eligible to offer this perk to their guests.

One bit of advice: Try not to rush and make time to take in the moment and the magic of WDW, whether dining at Dowtown Disney, Flying on Space Mountain or sliding down the slide at Yacht/Beach Club pool. There is never a wasted moment when you are surrounded by magic.

So true. Great advice.

I recommend the Fantasmic Dinner Package. The restaurants vary and the price is according to the restaurant but you get a pass for reserved seating in the show. Unfortunately you do need to book and pay for this in advance so if the weather is bad, you may not get the show.

When eating breakfast at the castle, order the cheese stuffed french toast, without the fruit topping, or with the topping on the side.

They will come out very hot and fresh, rather, than cold and greasy.

I've posted this before, but it's been awhile...My best tip was this: If you are at AK at opening, you can skip the long line at the front entrance- just enter the Rainforest Cafe from outside, go through the gift shop, and out to a park entrance that few people know about. It worked great for us!

1. Book early PS for Breakfastosaurus. You get into the AK early and after b'fast, the park has probably just opened. Dinoland was empty and we rode Primeval Whirl, Triceratops Spin, and Dinosaur with no lines. Then off to Kali River Rapids ... no line; walked on twice to assure we were soaking wet. Shirt and quick-dry shorts dried fast, but undies stayed wet all day. Yes, this was a good thing as it was the only time we have ever been cool in the AK (it was mid-July at the time)!

2. Take your time in the World Showcase. Start in Canada instead of Mexico (sometimes less crowded that way). If possible, us the World Showcase entry (by Beach Club) prior to WS opening. Walking through with no one around is a real treat. Also, after the Illuminations, stop by France and have a coffee and Creme Brulee. The park clears out and you can walk through the countries with no one around (see a pattern?). So peaceful.

3. Use the cut-through by the bathrooms in MK. You enter/exit near Aladdin's Magic Carpets and exit/enter in Frontierland close to the Shooting Gallery. Keeps you from having to go all the way around if you are not going to the "mountains". Hope this makes sense.

4. In the MK and MGM, walk through the shops on the way out of the parks. They are almost all connected and it keeps you off the sidewalks during parade times. It is also an air-conditioned walk!

5. Go to Toontown during MK fireworks. No one there and you can ride the Barnstormer over and over. You can also see the fireworks (no music though).

6. We avoid early entry parks like the plague for the entire day. But we will utilize EMH during the evenings.

7. Slow down and enjoy! We used to try and cram everything into our trip. DH was so tired he swore we would never return. Now we sleep in (gasp!), have a nice b'fast, and head to the parks. If something is too crowded we skip it.

8. We use our last day to go to rides we missed or want to do again. We have hopped all 4 parks in one day. Sounds horrible, but the kids love it!

9. If you see a souvenir themed for a specific park, buy it then. You may not find it at World of Disney. Utilize package delivery if staying on-site! We also stick things in those packages that we have picked up and don't want to carry back (like the KidCot masks, etc.). If you do forget a keepsake, there are numbers you can call when you get home and order park specific items.

10. Let the kids play in the playground areas (there are tons of them everywhere)! Don't pull them away from fun to get to a ride. Heaven knows, I have done that very thing. But when the kids are asked about fav Disney experiences, its usually things like hopscotch in UK, Dino Boneyard, Donald's boat that they talk about!

Go early
Stay long.

It works

Also go to the big rides first

i have another tip
i just don't remember it

Oh yes i just remembered my tip

For the parade, if you don't mind the walking you can walk toward the parade behind the lines of the street. You will be able to see over the people, if you have little little kids, put them on your shoulders like you would if you were in the back row. What this does is you will be walking away from the brunt of the crowds. You will end up near Frontierland which is usually crowded. Not that it will be empty, or close, but you will observe a break in the crowds. This way you have seen the parade, not had to arrive early to stake out a spot, and moved into the park. If you time it correctly you could even be coming from another park!!!! :earboy2:
