Hey Everyone,

If you could answer these questions I'll appreciate it.

1. Did you need letters of recommendations for the CP or PI? If so, how many? Did you need anything else for the applications?
2. How much did Disney cost in the beginning? Isn't there a $100 acceptance fee and then you just need money for the first few weeks till you get your paycheck?
3. I'm worried about the new web-interview section. Any tips?
4. What classes were your favorite/most interesting?
5. Did Disney end single-room bedrooms?

When I went to a presentation a few weeks ago, they advised me to apply now and see what happens. But isn't it true that you could only apply once every 6 months? For ex. if I want to go in the fall, I would apply in end of January, correct? Should I apply now and see what happens or wait?

1. Unless otherwise stated in a Disney Professional Internship job postion, Letters of Recommendations are not required. Due to the high number of applications, it is requested to avoid sending them unless otherwise requested.

2. Disney College Program Participants at the Disneyland Resort in California are required to pay an intial fee of $848 upon acceptance of their Offer of Employment. This consists of a Program Assesment Fee, as well as a Housing Security Deposit and four weeks of Housing Payments. This fee may be reduced if the Participant secures other living arrangements.

Disney College Program Participants at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida are required to pay a Program Assesment and Activities Fee of $100 upon acceptance of their Offer of Employment.

3. The Web-Based Interview is now required for all persons applying to any Hourly Guest Service Position with Walt Disney Parks and Resorts U.S., Inc..

The best advice is to be truthful and honest in one's responses. Doing so will aid the test in best determining one's suitability for employment with the Company.

5. Company-sponsored single-bedroom housing units are available to Disney College Program Participants at both Resorts. In addition, the Disneyland Resort offers Studio Apartments as a housing option.

All housing assignments are subject to availability of each type of unit.

I took 2 classes during Fall 2009- Exploring Heritage and Exploring Leadership (they were both DES classes). I really enjoyed them both. They were really interesting, and I learned a lot

Just remember that even in a 1BR you have a single roommate

Sportschick- Thank you. That's what I've been hearing and saw at the Disney Presentation. So I cannot request a single room because all rooms must have 1 other roommate correct?

Joanna- Do you know which classes count as the Ducktorate Certificate and the other certificate? I think I will take 2 classes there but not sure yet. Thank you for your help.

there are no single rooms, the least amount of roommates you can have is one

I'm taking Creativity and Innovation now (it's an ACE class so you can get credit for it)...its cool. You learn about yourself and how to be more creative in everyday life. The homeworks are pretty easy and the teacher is cool..Tricia, she lets you doodle, brings magazines for you to cut pictures out of, play-do and other things no other teacher would let you have in a formal class. The idea journal you have counts for like 35% of your grade and it can be filled with drawings, pictures, quotes, whatever. There's only 1 test, a midterm. So, I'd highly reccomend it!
