general questions (re: booking windsor hills)

Hello,

We are thinking of booking a 2 bedroom condo at Windsor Hills in November 2010.

Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions on who to book with – leaning towards Vacationcentralflordia.com - can anyone share experiences with this company or specific condo’s?

We haven’t booked any flights yet – when do you think November seats sales will start?

Do most people pre-purchase Disney tickets?

Thank you in advance for any or all help you can give me – this would be our first time booking a hotel privately over the internet! Ahhhhh – I’m feeling nervous!!

My husband and I have booked a condo regularly in WH but we have gone directly through the owners. I could PM their information if you want me to. We normally go directly through the owners.

We have always pre-bought our tickets. That has always been a must for us so we aren't dealing with that when we get there. It's best when you have 4 kids to minimize unnecessary waiting around. LOL

We always fly Southwest....they are the best with pricing, and with helping our disabled son. We always start looking for flight in the fall around late spring. That has always been our best luck.

We are staying in a 2 bedroom vacationcentralflorida.com condo in August for 2 weeks based on recommendations from DIS members. So far I'm very pleased with the reservation process. I had a few questions before putting down my deposit and they were answered promptly. I'll post a review of the unit when I return.

I stayed at WH 3 years ago and rented durectly from the owner - No problems at all whatsoever. We are going again in 3 weeks and have rented a condo (just found we didn't need the extra space..we are a family of 4) and again booked it through the owner..i'll let ya know how it goes but so far so good.

Booking through the owner is cheaper (I think) and you can negotiate dates and fees and can make requests if you need them. Also they are a great resource for things like restaurants and shopping. PM me if you want more info!

I have booked this fall through vacationcentralflorida (their new townhouse) and have had very good communication w/ them. So far the process has been very easy and I liked their policies. Have fun whoever you stay with .

I had had contact with an owner through vacationcentralflorida and he was very responsive to all my questions. We weren't able to book through them, however, since they required a Sat. to Sat. stay and we were staying Friday through Sunday (10 days).

We had a very good experience with this management company: www.floridasunvacationhomes.com. They rent out condos, townhomes and homes with pools in Windsor Hills. We thought they were excellent.

We always pre-buy our Disney tickets through www.undercovertourist.com. You will save additional money if you sign up for the mousesavers newsletter (www.mousesavers.com) and use their special code for the undercover tourist tickets.

If you would like to book privately through an owner, lots of nice places on www.vrbo.com, www.homeaway.com, and www.windsorhillsrent.com, all very reputable sites.

We have stayed at WH twice and both times booked directly with the owner which we found on vrbo.com. No problems. Love WH. Over looking the pool used to be a priority for me but I find it too noisy. Keep that in mind when booking.
