Hi all and congrats to everyone that got FD with your Disney visa's. I am starting this thread for everyone that is not a Disney visa holder so we can all be excited about Thurs. What are your dates and what are you hoping to book?

I am hoping to get ASMO from Sept 15-21
Who all is joining me on Thursday and making that magic call

I too will be ringing on Thursday at 7am which will be 12 midday over here Have to take a few hours off work for it though ha. Any idea on what the code is for public free dining yet?

I have already booked pop from 30th aug to 13th sep and akl from 13th to 20th sep incase I don't get the free dining ill be going either way

Well we have a trip booked in Oct, but with the free dining we are thinking about changing our dates to Aug 24-Sept3. Anyone know how hot it will actually be then?? We have gone in June, so would it be comparable to that weather?? Good luck to everyone trying to get FD!!

My mom is a travel agent and she will be calling for us first thing Thursday morning. We are planning on going from September 20-26. Should I still get the free dining with those dates, or will I have to bump it up a week or two? My 30th birthday is September 25, and I really wanted to celebrate it there! I cannot wait!! We are probably going to go with POP.

We're going on our honeymoon! Sept 2-13. ....We still haven't picked a resort!! It'll be a deluxe. We also want to go with deluxe dining... but might book for regular first. DF thinks it should be easy to upgrade. I'm worried about that though!!! I'd rather just book dxDDP to begin with.

That's our same pecking order- you won't have to fight me for a room, though- we're going 9/13-9/20.

We're hoping for POP, Sept. 20-29th. My second choice is ASMU and I haven't made a third. I really, really, really want Pop Century so I'm keeping my fingers crossed all week. Guess I'll be on the phone at 6:55.

I'm already booked at AS Movies 8/23-8/31. Hoping my AAA TA can figure out how to work this so I get free dining. I think it needs to be two separate reservations, 1 for 8/23 and another for 8/23-31. We were already booked before any mention of free dining and I'm hoping to keep my same reservation (ASMo, preferred location). Also all of my ADRs are already made, so I'm ahead of the game!

FYI, for those of you who don't have rooms booked yet, try making your dining reservations now if you can. I think a lot of people booked rooms in anticipation of free dining and made their ADRs at the six month mark. I'm booked in October and thought about switching my dates out as I can be flexible. I called to make dining reservations and all the TS places I wanted (Chef Mickeys, Crystal Palace, 1900 Park Fare and Coral Reef) are booked for prime time. The earliest dining time was 8 pm or later, or I couldn't get in at all. Since I have a 40% off code applied to my room on my existing reservation, while the free dining would have some money, it wasn't a lot, so I decided to keep my existing reservation.

Trying to hopefully do any value: Music, Pop, Movies, then Sports for the 31st-7th. Just have to run the dates by my Mom aka my travel partner.

We were originally going to cruise or do Disney in 2009...but free dining is considerable savings and hope she agrees to moving up our vacay a few months.

That is the funniest thing I have heard lol. I thought about doing that just to see what they would say hmm did you say just for visa holders hehehe
