Ooooh I’m really excited for Christmas today!!

We have our work ‘do’ next Thursday, so I thought I’d be a bit fancy and have booked my annual Christmas nail appointment for Saturday. 

I am going to get a full set with white tips, last year for my Christmas ones I had little stars airbrushed at the ends…..I might do similar this year. Maybe a bit of glitter…..

I love having long nails (my real ones break really easily) as I feel like even if you dress scruffy you’re a little bit smart. Maybe I’ll keep them up this time rather than pick them off around new year!

Can you believe it, i can't get in to see my dentist until Wednesday at the very earliest.

The receptionist is going to ring me back within the hour after speaking to the dentist to see if i can at least get some antibiotics (i think there is an infection as it is all swollen)

Thankfully my Dad has popped down with some 600mg Ibrofen and after taking one it seems to be taking the edge off it but for how long i don't know.

I can see me ending up at an out of hours dentist.

I was going to say have you got an emergency/out of hours dentist? Try your local hospital as that is where ours is run from

Afternoon all. I have just found out I have won £100 with Thomson Local. I left a review for a company I have used, I did it to get the bonus Nectar points but they also do a monthly prize draw & I won. I'm chuffed as I never really win anything. That will be added to my little cheque from the tax man earlier this week so I have a little extra to spend in NY

Hooray, just had a phone call from my dentist and i can go at 10.30 tomorrow.
I will have to sit and wait until he can squeeze me in but i am just glad that i am going.

Just got back from the dentist, iv'e got an infection so i am on antibiotics now. He said it is because there is too much of the tooth exposed which would explain why hot and cold drinks hurt like hell. He put some white stuff all over and around the tooth which he said would help it.

Anyway if it settles down he said there was no need to go back but if not he started talking about root fillings

I'm very jealous, I think Claire and Karen are out shopping together too - whereas I've had a morning of washing and tidying

I think it is so nice that some of you stay close enough to each other to meet up for a chat, cake, drink or two

Well the excitement never ends here we hadn't had rain for two years but last night it poured down and today some of the roads have been like lakes. They aren't geared up for rain here so everything comes to a standstill and its has now got so dark and windy looks like more rain. It makes it feel a bit more Christmassy for me now and more in common with you lot back home.
